While France is celebrating this year the 90 years of paid holidays, the right to vacation remains out of reach for a substantial portion of the population.
According to figures recalled by the Fondation Je pars, tu pars, il part, 39% of the French—and one child in four—still do not take holidays.
It is in this context that on June 29, 2026 at Fouquet’s Paris the fourth edition of the Charity Gala of Tourism Decision-Makers was held.
Organized under the high patronage of Serge Papin, Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade, Craft, Tourism and Purchasing Power, the event brought together 102 representatives of the tourism ecosystem to support the Foundation’s actions.

More than 120,000 euros raised
Thanks to donations from participants, a raffle and an auction conducted by auctioneer Yonathan Chamla (Maison R&C), over €120,000 was collected.
The funds will finance the Foundation’s various programs supporting holiday departures for the most vulnerable audiences.
Among the personalities present were notably Sacha Houlié, deputy, Christian Mantei, president of Atout France and sponsor of the Foundation, Jean-Virgile Crance, president of the Confederation of Tourism Actors, Julien Huel, director of hospitality and catering for the Barrière group, as well as Noémie Nusbaumer, Tourism advisor to the minister.
Actress Mélanie Doutey and the world champion in freeride skiing and sailor Aurélien Ducroz, ambassador of the Foundation, were also in attendance.

1,100 families hosted in nearly 200 destinations
The first departures are scheduled to begin on July 4. Through August 31, more than 1,100 families, representing over 5,500 adults and children, will be able to enjoy a stay thanks to the mobilization of tourism professionals.
In total, 19 accommodations providers and 40 independent camps will offer lodging in nearly 200 destinations across the country. Families will be able to stay in a residence or a mobile home, by the sea, in the mountains or in the countryside.
In addition to accommodation, several partners will also offer on-site activities, such as access to ski lifts, summer sledding, swimming pools or cinemas, with the support of local tourist offices.
In total, 19 accommodations providers and 40 independent camps will offer lodging in nearly 200 destinations across the country. Families will be able to stay in a residence or a mobile home, by the sea, in the mountains or in the countryside.
