Le Mas de Louise: The Art of Gathering Under the Ardèche Sun

Located near Aubenas and Montélimar, Mas de Louise rises as a warm refuge where the sweetness of life is savored at every moment. This family estate reveals an unobstructed 180-degree view toward the Mirabel tower. The property invites disconnection in a serene environment, while remaining connected to the surrounding treasures.

A Land of Character at the Gates of Ardèche’s Great Sites

A few minutes’ drive are enough to reach the medieval lanes of Balazuc, the oppidum of Jastres, or the château of Alba-la-Romaine. Further afield, the mythical Pont d’Arc and the Chauvet Cave complete this escape. The manor offers a remarkable anchor point from which to savor the tranquility of the place while discovering the richness of the region.

Eight elegant suites designed for absolute comfort

The Spirit of a Grand House Designed for Everyone’s Privacy

Born from the determined journey of Louise Faure and her husband Aymeric Gamondès, Mas de Louise arose from a desire to honor their local roots. “I grew up in a family with the vibe of an inn where the house thrived with large tables. My aim is to offer our guests this spirit of sharing by providing all the comfort necessary for them to feel at home,” Louise says. A family heritage that is reflected in the establishment, consisting of eight refined suites with private bathrooms and toilets, designed to accommodate up to fifteen guests. The residence combines ample communal spaces, such as three air-conditioned lounges or a semi-professional kitchen, with the tranquility essential to every guest. The bright Grand Salon of Christiane reveals an impressive five-meter oak table crafted by a local cabinetmaker. In the olive-lined garden lies a heated swimming pool. A pétanque court completes this setting conducive to a change of scenery.

Tailored Services and Horizons Full of Promise

To provide complete peace of mind, the house makes a range of on-demand services available. The welcome includes deliveries of regional products, while a private chef, a housekeeper, or a professional masseuse can come on site. Evenings are sometimes enlivened by an outdoor cinema session or a theatre workshop. This Ardèche interlude, located just three hours and thirty minutes from Paris and two hours from Lyon and Marseille, readily lends itself to friendly reunions or corporate seminars. In this same spirit, the owners plan to add a spa area with a sauna, as well as thematically themed stays focused on local terroir products to enrich each guest’s experience.
