Auditions dedicated to the sector’s challenges
Each candidate will be interviewed individually under similar conditions, with equal speaking time and a common framework.
The auditions, lasting about 45 minutes, will include an interview on the candidate’s strategic vision, thematic exchanges, and two segments dedicated to their proposals and commitments.
Among the topics to be addressed are competitiveness, taxation, simplification, employment, training, investment, access to vacations, housing, mobility and the ecological transition.
The four organizations thus aim to make tourism a clearly identified topic in the presidential debate and to obtain from candidates precise positions on the sector’s main issues.

A day for tourism professionals
The various auditions will be recorded to enable their distribution on digital channels and to keep a record of the positions presented by the candidates.
The initiative comes as tourism represents a significant weight in the French economy.
In 2025, France welcomed 102 million international visitors and recorded 77.5 billion euros of international tourism revenue.
The sector also accounts for around 8% of GDP and more than 2 million direct and indirect jobs according to public data.
