Discovery Trains will host, on October 8, 2026, a Travel Talk dedicated to marketing rail travel.

For 45 minutes, the agency specializing in train journeys will present to tourism professionals the various possibilities offered by rail, particularly in the premium segment.

According to Discovery Trains, rail travel is sometimes viewed by travel advisors as a product that is hard to sell and less lucrative.

“The train: a product you must learn to embrace”

The agency, on the contrary, intends to show that rail travel can constitute a valuable offering to clients, provided one masters its specifics.

“The train: a product you must learn to embrace”, summarizes Laure Jacquet, director of Discovery Trains.

The Travel Talk will address in particular the destinations and rail products likely to be offered by agencies, as well as the arguments to convince hesitant clients.

Discovery Trains will also contribute several of its partners. Autria Tourism will be the official partner of the event. Switzerland will be represented with Switzerland Tourism, the Glacier Express and the Gornergrat Railway.

The agency also plans to discuss several other rail offerings, among which Accor’s Dolce Vita Orient Express, Trenitalia, Renfe, VIA Rail, Lernidee Erlebnisreisen trains, VisitBritain or offerings in western Sweden.

The Travel Talk will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 11:00 to 12:00, including 15 minutes allocated for questions and answers. The webinar is free and reserved for travel professionals.

A draw will conclude the session, with train tickets and rail passes to be won.
