Twenty years after the creation of Double Sens, the two French agencies decided to pool their know-how.
Founded in 2006, Double Sens developed around solidarity and fair-trade tourism, with an approach centered on encounters with local populations and the local economic benefits.
Created in 2011, Trace Directe for its part specialized in tailor-made travel, relying on experts located directly in the destinations.
After integrating Double Sens into the FairMoove group in 2023, followed by Trace Directe in 2025, their expertise is now united under the brand Double Sens Nouvelle Génération.

Five Levels of Immersion
The new positioning rests on five levels of experience allowing travelers to choose their degree of involvement: discover, meet, share, get involved and commit.
The objective is to offer a progressive approach to immersive travel, ranging from discovering a destination and its people to solidarity journeys built with local partners.
The brand thus aims to combine discovery, comfort and responsibility, without imposing a single model of travel.
This rapprochement does not call into question the historic commitments of Double Sens. The agency continues to favor human-scale accommodations, local providers and initiatives that generate income for communities.
In 2025, 47 % of the price of a Double Sens trip was redirected to the local economy, while 342 families participated in hosting travelers. The agency also reports having redirected 13 % of its turnover directly to local communities.
Double Sens also continues to measure the impact of its journeys with communities, receptive agencies and partner associations.

A New Identity Around “One Trip, Two Stories”
This new stage comes with a redesigned brand identity built around the signature “One Trip, Two Stories.” It illustrates the intention to consider both the traveler’s experience and the travel’s impact on the populations and territories visited.
With this new generation, Double Sens thus intends to broaden its offering of immersive and responsible travel by drawing on destination expertise and the bespoke know-how developed by Trace Directe.
