After the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean, or even Polynesia, Exotismes adds a new destination to its network.
For the first time, it will take only four hours to reach the properties planned by the tour operator, which will offer, for winter 2026/2027, the Canary Islands.
“It has been a year since we have been working on the destination“, explains Didier Sylvestre, the deputy managing director in charge of commercial. We want to provide a complementary offer to travel agencies, compared with what the market offers, with around thirty high-quality accommodations, largely 4 and 5 stars, with hotels that can cater to families without being club-style offerings.
Thus, travel agents will find a differentiated and diversified program, also on Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria.

Exotismes: island combos, self-drives… a special production on the Canaries
With this sun-soaked destination easily reachable from Europe, the tour operator does not renounce its DNA, which consists of offering tropical destinations with quality services in a secure environment.
“Travel agents will notably be able to book in five clicks combinations of two islands and three islands, something that is part of Exotismes’ DNA.
It is really a reflection of our know-how across all our destinations – Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Tahiti. Here, the combos are offered between 7 and 12 nights“, adds the DGA.
Travelers will also be able to choose among the four autotours offered from five nights, on Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Tenerife North and Tenerife South. “These autotours are combinable with a 2-3 night stay for example.
This allows discovering the destination, while enjoying some rest time at the hotel, specifies Didier Sylvestre. There is only Fuerteventura where we considered that the island was not really suited to a self-drive discovery, as it is more focused on sport and the beach.

Around ten Canary offers in “The Best of the Islands”
If the destination benefits from very good air connections from Paris and the provinces, via direct flights or via Spain, inter-island links are also mainly by plane. “We work with the local Spanish airline Binter, which indeed offers island combos. The ferry is offered only between Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, which are close“, adds the director.
On the accommodations side, the tour operator has chosen to rely on Spanish groups with whom it has already collaborated for many years in the Caribbean, notably Bahia Principe, Iberostar, Lopesan and Meliá. It is also worth noting the possibility to reserve at the Pierre et Vacances de Las Palmas establishment, on Gran Canaria.
These offers now appear in the new all-inclusive selection launched in September 2026. About ten offers are also presented on the site The Best of the Islands, which is the subject of a full production.

An offering for shorter stays
With this programming, Exotismes aims to meet the proximity need that was felt this summer, as the French shunned long-haul destinations and favored more affordable stays.
“We want to respond to the current demand, to reach budgets more accessible and to offer shorter stays“, summarizes Didier Sylvestre.
Located barely 100 km from the Tropic of Cancer, the Canary Islands benefit from a climate permitting year-round tourist attendance. “It’s the eternal spring“, stresses the DGA, a destination with no major climatic hazards, little time difference, no currency issue and relatively close. At Exotismes, we like to say that it’s the shortest of long-haul journeys“.
