The 2026 edition of IFTM Top Resa closes with a broadly positive impression among the exhibitors present.
“Despite a challenging environment, we felt that professionals were happy to come together and genuinely eager to move forward. It is truly gratifying. We sense that momentum is rebuilding, which is very positive.
From day one, we felt we were on the right track. And yesterday (Wednesday, editor’s note), we had a record day“, the remarks of Marie Allantaz, head of strategy at IFTM, while not disclosing any figures.

“The aim of IFTM is above all to rebuild the bond with our partners”
“We had a wonderful opening, with the chance to host Minister Serge Papin, who was able to meet representatives from more than ten countries.
These meetings were highly appreciated by the foreign ministers. This also underlines France’s objective to set itself as a reference and to fully play its role on the international tourism stage“, adds the organizer.
For Frédéric Pilloud, the digital director of Digitrips whose stand was situated on a main aisle, the contract is fulfilled: “We had very packed appointment schedules over two days and a half.
The aim of IFTM is above all to rebuild ties with our partners, but also to meet a few new prospects.
In the French market, we already know many people, so the objective is mainly to consolidate these relationships and prepare for 2027.”

Strong visitor turnout at the TO village

On the TO operators village, the Quartier Libre teams also report a positive assessment: “From the first day, we had very good contacts. People who knew us but who had never worked with us before came by, as did major clients.
We met both prospects and our clients, including Belgians. On the other hand, the last day was much calmer: today there is hardly anyone and the number of meetings is noticeably lower,” testifies Stéphane Dossetto, commercial director of the specialist in guided and self-guided tours.
The same tune from Parfums du Monde: “The first two days were truly intense. We had quite a few meetings, with many regular clients but also some prospects.
For us, the goal of IFTM is first to reconnect with our partners and our clients, even when they come from far away, but also to develop new contacts,” adds Michel Jean-Richard, founder-director.
“An excellent edition” continues Stéphane Grillon, sales director at Ponant. “We prepared the show thoroughly in advance and all our appointments were scheduled. The format, with a table in the shared space on the TO village, allows us to step out of the booth and engage in much more operational exchanges rather than just making contact.
I am delighted with this edition, which allowed us to set numerous milestones for 2027. Attendance was excellent on Tuesday and Wednesday, even if, as many noted, Thursday was noticeably calmer from the morning.”

France as a destination in focus
On the France pavilion, Corinne Giorgiutti, director of Hôtels Circuits France, is also pleased: “We were happy with the first day, which was more dynamic than usual.
The second day was closer to what we know. This third day is quite calm from the morning. The show is an opportunity to meet our clients, especially the coach tour operators.”
Jean-Vincent Petit, head of Ty-Win, is also fully satisfied with this edition. He attended the show two years ago and felt a renewed interest particularly from French receptive operators: “Our platform enables French receptives to sell their packaged tourism offers in B2B. We had an enormous amount of contacts.”
On Destination France, Marie Allantaz especially highlights the success of micro-training sessions and workshops. “It was full“, she asserts.
The signing of the agreement between Entreprises du Voyage and Atout France also drew a crowd. For Marie Allantaz, these signals show that there is “a fertile ground for Destination France to unfold even more significantly in the coming years“.

A third day that struggled to draw in visitors
Based in Tech Zone, Fabrice Mundina, co-founder of MB3M, offers a slightly more nuanced assessment: “Tuesday was a big day, but Wednesday was a bit quieter than usual, and the last day even more so. For us, the main objective of IFTM remains meeting our clients. We don’t have salespeople on the road, so this is our annual appointment.
The topic of electronic invoicing also brought us more prospects than usual. The show remains high-quality; we must be present, even though we wish the Tech Zone were set up more centrally in the show.”
Conversely, Jérôme Pouil, CEO of Itinerea Group (formerly Calafell Evasion) shares the same sentiment: “There may be slightly fewer people than in certain years, but the quality of the contacts is right on target.
We had new visits and, above all, new clients, which was one of our objectives. Our regular clients and partners also showed up. Overall we are satisfied.”
