The Odyssey at the Heart of the Fjords – An Unprecedented Immersion

In spring and autumn, Hurtigruten unveils its most immersive journey into the heart of Norway’s fjords.

Departing from Bergen, this eight-day itinerary explores the west’s most spectacular landscapes — Lysefjord, Hardangerfjord, Sognefjord and Nordfjord — and leads to remote regions of striking beauty.

Between Ålesund’s Art Nouveau grace, ancient wooden churches and tranquil villages nestled between waterfalls and mountains, each stop unfolds along the voyage, guided by the captains’ expertise and the natural conditions.

From €2,015 per person – Departures Fall 2027 & Spring 2028

Thanks to flexible navigation beneath the auroral oval and low light pollution, conditions are ideal for observing the Northern Lights in an exceptional setting.
