The Norwegian Aura will sail the Mediterranean earlier than planned. Norwegian Cruise Line has opened sales for two additional scheduled cruises before the initially announced departure on May 21, 2027.
The company’s new vessel will leave Trieste on May 2 to head to Piraeus in ten days. It will call at Dubrovnik and Split in Croatia, Bar in Montenegro, as well as Corfu, Santorini and Mykonos in Greece.
On May 12, the Norwegian Aura will perform the returning voyage in nine days, with calls at Rhodes, Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu, Bar, Split and Zadar.
These two itineraries are made possible by an anticipated early delivery of the ship, built by the Italian shipyards of Fincantieri.

The Largest Ship in the Fleet
The vessel will measure approximately 344 metres in length and 170,000 GT. It will accommodate 3,879 guests in double occupancy and will comprise 1,976 cabins, from studios to suites.
About 10% larger than the Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna, it will feature Ocean Heights, an outdoor activities complex spread across four decks. Water slides, rope courses and spaces for different generations are also expected to reinforce its family-oriented positioning.
The ship will also boast a larger pool deck than its predecessors and an expanded Vibe Beach Club, reserved for adults. The private Haven complex will bring together 159 suites, with restaurant, lounge and dedicated outdoor deck.
