The final of the previous Champions League edition is scheduled this Saturday, May 30 at 6:00 PM.

As part of this event, the Quai d’Orsay published an update to its travel advisories on France Diplomatie. It warns supporters, but also French tourists present this weekend in Budapest, about the security rules established by the Hungarian authorities.

They will deploy a substantial security operation throughout the weekend. Checks could be intensified on public transport, around the stadium, and in the various supporter gathering zones.

The Quai d’Orsay also emphasizes the conduct to be maintained throughout the weekend.

In Hungary, there is zero tolerance for drunk driving and drug use. Authorities warn that any excess, violence, vandalism, or disruption of public order will be pursued as immediate criminal charges.

Fans and travelers should also carry an identity document and plan their movements in advance. Once in Budapest, it is advised to favor public transport or the shuttles provided by the organizers.

Beyond the usual instruction, in such a situation, to respect the orders of law enforcement and organizers, they should also watch over their personal belongings in crowded areas and register on the Fil d’Ariane portal.
