The recommendations vary by country, but French authorities consistently urge travelers to follow local guidelines, to regularly check the information from their airline and to enroll in the Fil d’Ariane scheme before departure.
In Jordan, where the territory is regularly overflown, and at times targeted, by missiles and Iranian drones since July 9, the ministry recommends particular vigilance.
Travelers are urged to heed the alert sirens, to seek shelter immediately in case of an alert and to avoid the Azraq and Mafraq areas, in the northeast of the country.
A particular vigilance is also recommended in the Qatr region (Aqaba). If airspace remains open, travelers are advised to verify the status of their flight with their airline.

Travel within the Salalah, Duqm, Musandam regions as well as along the border with Yemen is discouraged unless there is an imperative reason.
In case of an alert, the Quai d’Orsay recommends following the authorities’ instructions, taking shelter and staying away from military or security installations.
The ministry has also updated its recommendations for the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
In these four countries, French authorities urge travelers to demonstrate heightened vigilance, to follow the instructions of local authorities and in case of an incident to stay informed about the progression of the regional situation.
