WebBeds announces the signing of an agreement aimed at acquiring Tale Travel SRL, a B2B travel wholesaler based in Constanța, Romania. Founded in 2016, the company distributes hotel accommodations to 860 travel agencies and tour operators across 45 issuing markets. It has recorded a growth rate of 25% over the past year. The deal is expected to enable WebBeds to strengthen its presence in Eastern Europe, while giving Tale Travel’s clients access to a broader global hotel inventory. Completion is anticipated in the first quarter of 2027.

A New Leadership for Eastern Europe
À l’issue de l’opération, Sabin Târșoagă prendra la direction des activités de WebBeds en Europe de l’Est, tout en continuant à superviser Tale Travel. Son cofondateur, Costin Leolea, occupera également des fonctions élargies au sein du groupe.
Tale Travel poursuivra ses opérations depuis Constanța avec son équipe actuelle. La finalisation de l’acquisition, soumise aux autorisations réglementaires et aux conditions usuelles, est prévue au premier trimestre 2027.
