Three Territories, Three Ways to Experience Quebec Autumn

Charlevoix : colors between the river and the mountains

In Charlevoix, autumn takes on a particularly spectacular dimension. The Saint Lawrence River, the mountains, the villages and the forested landscapes compose a setting where nature becomes an integral part of the journey.
This is an opportunity to combine scenery, heritage, and authenticity. The Charlevoix Train offers, in particular, an original way to discover the region, allowing a different appreciation of the landscapes between river and mountain.
For a group circuit, this experience can naturally fit into an itinerary combining Québec, Charlevoix and the great outdoors.

Lanaudière-Mauricie : immersion in the great outdoors

This territory is full of addresses where hospitality becomes a genuine component of the experience. Establishments such as Le Lac Blanc, l’Auberge du Lac-à-l’Eau-Claire, or le Baluchon enable a full immersion in nature, in environments that take on a special dimension in autumn.

After a city stop, these regions offer groups the chance to slow down, giving more space to nature, outdoor activities, and local gastronomy.

Les Laurentides : nature near Montreal

Easily accessible from Montreal, the Laurentians provide a natural transition between urban life and the great outdoors. Mountains, lakes, forests and outdoor activities allow for varied stops and a central place for nature. The Summit Path offers, notably, an original way to gain height and observe the forest landscapes from a 360-degree panorama.

What if autumn could also be lived under the Halloween banner?

In Canada, Halloween is part of popular culture and takes on a special place as October 31 approaches.
This is an opportunity to engage your travelers in this traditional celebration to offer them an original and distinctive experience, particularly for groups seeking a more playful or family-friendly approach to travel.
Decorations, pumpkins, stories and legends, themed activities or distinctive atmospheres bring a new dimension to the circuit.
It is also a way to capitalize on seasonality and offer an experience less expected on standard Eastern Canadian itineraries.
At GVQ Canada, this theme is integrated into our autumn programming, with a GIR departure date and a Groups PAV date allowing to program Eastern Canada at this time and to enjoy this enchanting ambiance.

Autumn: a season to turn into a business opportunity

The season of colors is highly sought after, and availability can be more limited in certain regions. Planning ahead becomes a real commercial challenge.

To support you, GVQ Canada highlights a selection of PAV Groups with favorable dates in September and October, some of which also allow enjoying the Halloween ambiance.

The GIR, with its guaranteed departures at a human scale, enables offering a turnkey circuit to individual travelers seeking a guided itinerary.

For assembled groups, we have a fine selection of dates in PAV for 2027, offering a structured program with defined services, a price and terms that allow anticipation of sales.

Strategic dates, secure accommodations, structured services and differentiating experiences thus give professionals better visibility to plan and sell this particularly attractive period.

From Opportunity to Realization!

Autumn in Quebec offers more than a visual appeal; it allows presenting another reading of the destination in a fleeting atmosphere, varying the territories and building itineraries around this strong seasonal experience.

And at the end of October, Halloween adds a cultural and experiential dimension, particularly interesting to differentiate a program.

For French professionals, the challenge is therefore to transform this richness into concrete solutions: GIR with guaranteed departures, PAV ready to sell, strategic dates, defined prices and differentiating experiences.

The magic of colors and the Halloween atmosphere thus become two ways to discover Eastern Canada in autumn: not only a destination to see, but a land to travel through, living by focusing on the experience.

Nestled in Kaafu Atoll, the resort will be reachable in about 45 minutes by speedboat from Velana International Airport.

The property will be the first resort of the ONE BANYAN collection, a new line of island addresses co-branded by Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts.

It will incorporate the sub-brand “An Atmosphere Hotel“, with a positioning focused on personalized experiences and a less formal approach to luxury.

ONE BANYAN Amaraa Faru will offer 118 beach and over-water villas, ranging from 100 to 164 m², each equipped with a private pool.

The offering will also include an all-day restaurant, a pool bar and three specialty restaurants, including an Argentine cuisine venue and a Japanese restaurant on stilts.

The resort will further feature a kids’ club, a fitness center with ocean views, a dive and watersports center, as well as a shopping arcade.

On the wellness side, an ELE|NA Ayur spa will offer over-water treatment rooms, a saline swimming pool, a sauna and a hammam.

The project also envisions several sustainability measures, including solar energy solutions, water conservation systems and a zero-plastic approach, with bottled water provided in glass containers produced on-site.

With this opening, Atmosphere Core will bring the number of resorts in the archipelago to 10. The group currently operates nine properties in the Maldives and says it is pursuing international expansion, with projects in Europe and in South Asia.

Borgo Monchiero: Atmosphere Core Enters Europe

Travelers seeking authenticity, wellness, and haute cuisine have found their new indispensable Italian destination.

The imminent opening on July 16 marks the official launch of Atmosphere Core’s first European address, which revives the soul of a village nearly forgotten through an exclusive offering of 25 rooms and suites, a spa area with a panoramic pool, a dining room crafted by a Michelin-starred chef, and a highly personalized guest experience provided by a dedicated host from the airport.

Led by Franco Giampetruzzi and Gian Maria Debenedetti, the project was conceived to meticulously respect the historical identity of the site.

The architectural direction has been entrusted to architect Stefano Tardito.

Salil Panigrahi, cofounder and CEO of Atmosphere Core, emphasizes that its opening is a particularly meaningful moment for them: “our long experience in international hospitality, combined with our global expansion strategy, has led us to establish important collaborations with European companies and prestigious Italian brands, culminating in the launch of our first destination in Europe and the second Heritage by Atmosphere property. ”

A Residential and Gastronomic Experience Crafted Without Compromise

The establishment offers an exclusive capacity of 25 rooms and suites, distributed evenly between the historic monastery building, where the old monastic cells have been repurposed while preserving original materials, and the Villa structure, which presents residential yet aristocratic and luminous elegance.

The pinnacle of the accommodation offering is the Prieur Room, a spacious apartment with interconnected rooms, perfectly suited for families or small groups.

For large events or exclusive weddings, the estate also provides the possibility of complete privatization, relying on spectacular outdoor spaces such as panoramic terraces, an infinity pool, and the Santuario della Madonna del Rosario dating from 1752 for religious ceremonies.

Gastronomy holds a central place in the experience thanks to Executive Chef Giorgio Servetto, proud of his previous Michelin distinctions.

In the restaurant housed within the old building, he offers a creative table that revisits Piedmontese culinary tradition, complemented by private dinners and immersive tastings in the village’s most history-laden spaces.

Wellness is not left out with a dedicated space comprising a panoramic pool offering sweeping views of the surrounding hills, a heated water cistern beneath vaulted ceilings, as well as a sauna and a sensory shower.

Finally, art and terroir exploration complete this exceptional stay. The village revives its cultural past by integrating works from 20th-century Piedmontese masters such as Eso Peluzzi and Claudio Bonichi, and by transforming the desacralized chapel into an elegant museum accessible by appointment.

From the moment of arrival at the airport, visitors are welcomed by a dedicated host and can enjoy a tailor-made programme of experiences ranging from truffle hunting to journeys by vintage car or Vespa through the vineyards.
