Royal Caribbean unveils its European program for 2028-2029 and plans to deploy seven ships in Europe.

The program will include itineraries in the Mediterranean, the Greek islands, and Northern Europe, as well as winter cruises to the Canary Islands, Portugal, and Morocco. Departures will be offered notably from Athens, Barcelona, Lisbon, Rome, Southampton, and Ravenna.

The Rhapsody of the Seas will sail in Europe year-round for the first time. After a summer season in the Mediterranean, it will offer from November 2028 cruises of 9 to 12 nights to the Canary Islands, Portugal, Morocco, and several Mediterranean destinations.

Santorini and the Company’s Return to the Baltic Sea

Several itineraries in the Greek islands will include extended stops at Santorini. Passengers will notably be able to choose the excursion « Ultimate Santorini Day », which combines visits to the villages of Oia and Fira with a day at the Royal Beach Club Santorini.

The Jewel of the Seas will return to Copenhagen and Stockholm for 7 to 11-night cruises in the Baltic Sea, from May to August 2028. The Freedom of the Seass will offer itineraries of 3 to 9 nights departing from Southampton, while the Explorer of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas and Odyssey of the Seas will sail notably in the Mediterranean and in the Greek Isles.

The schedule also foresees the return of the Rhapsody of the Seas to Héraklion, in Crete, and to Cagliari, in Sardinia, for the first time in more than ten years.
