France Heritage Pass: Visit 500 Heritage Monuments

This pass, which had been announced in June by Culture Minister Catherine Pégard, is being implemented on the occasion of Heritage Days, which take place on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20. The objective is to “encourage more and more French people to discover their heritage” and to “generate resources thanks to these new visitors,” the Foundation stated in a press release.

Partner sites will receive on average 80% of their full price, it is specified. The future members of the Foundation “will be able to access renowned sites such as the Versailles Palace, the Chambord national domain, the Château de Fontainebleau, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, the Hospices de Beaune, according to the press release.

Less well-known or more original sites will also be accessible, such as the Ernest Renan House (Côtes-d’Armor), the Château de Villandraut (Gironde), the Château de Javarzay (Deux-Sèvres) or the Four des Casseaux (Haute-Vienne). “There are on average five sites per department”, explains AFP’s Alexandre Giuglaris, the Foundation’s chief executive.

Passes adapted to different profiles

Four annual membership options are offered: €78 for one person, €114 for two people, €138 for a family with one adult, and €175 for a family with two adults.

The pass is notably aimed at “less affluent” audiences, according to Alexandre Giuglaris.

Ephemeral visits, conferences and concerts will also be proposed. The Foundation, founded in 1996, claims to have helped “save, restore and transmit more than 46,487 projects across metropolitan France and overseas.” It counted 1,500 members last year, before the launch of the pass.

TAP Air Portugal

Trenitalia France continues its expansion on the European rail market. The company announces its integration into the Interrail and Eurail networks, thereby granting access to its Frecciarossa trains to holders of the famous rail passes.

This evolution concerns both European travelers holding an Interrail Pass and international customers traveling with a Eurail Pass. They can now include Trenitalia France-operated connections in their itineraries across the 33 countries covered by the network.

Travelers have two options: the Flexi Pass, which allows selecting a fixed number of travel days within a given period, and the Continuous Pass, which offers unlimited travel for the duration of the title’s validity.

Trenitalia France: a driver for the company’s growth

Fully digital, the Passes are accessible via the Rail Planner app, which allows you to plan your journey, add Frecciarossa trips, and present your pass during checks.

To ride Trenitalia France trains, seat reservations remain mandatory. Its cost is set at 10 euros for domestic journeys and at 13 euros for international routes. Reservations can be made online, at Trenitalia France ticket offices, or via the company’s call center.

For Marco Caposciutti, president of Trenitalia France, this integration fits into the company’s growth strategy.

This partnership with Interrail B.V is, for us, a genuine strategic lever in our development on the rail market. It fully aligns with Trenitalia France’s mission: to promote train travel and offer a travel alternative that is simpler and more sustainable, he states in the press release.

This Pass responds to a strong trend: travelers seeking a novel experience, where the journey becomes an essential part of the trip. » he adds.

The integration of Trenitalia France into the Interrail/Eurail Pass network gives travelers even more freedom to go further and follow their curiosity beyond borders, explains Wouter Wolff, head of public affairs and strategic relations at Interrail B.V.

Present in France since December 2021 as part of the opening to competition of passenger rail, Trenitalia now operates the Paris-Lyon, Paris-Milan, and Paris-Marseille lines.

Vendée Digitizes and Modernizes Its Seasonal Pass in 2026

CroisiEurope

A 100% Digital Seasonal Pass

One of the main novelties of this edition, 2026, concerns the complete dematerialization of the “Pass Vendéen Saisonnier” (the Vendée Seasonal Pass).

Accessible via the Vendée 360 app, the system now enables seasonal workers to complete a short online training before receiving their pass by email, directly usable on smartphones.

This pass provides access to discounts and free admissions at tourist sites and leisure activities across the department. It aims to encourage seasonal workers to discover the local offerings while facilitating their integration into the territory.

The network of partners is also expanding to 130 sites in 2026, including more than 30 new entrants.

Castles, amusement parks and natural sites participate in this scheme, reinforcing the attractiveness of the region for seasonal workers.

A More Direct Communication Campaign

To support this system, a new communication campaign is launched with a concise and impactful message: “A job. Some friends. Some memories.”.

Distributed across digital platforms, notably YouTube, as well as in cinemas in Vendée and neighboring departments, the spot aims to strengthen the appeal of seasonal jobs.

The 2026 initiative also relies on several field actions. An summer tour planned from July 1 to July 15 will bring teams directly to meet seasonal workers to promote the application and the pass.

In parallel, video portraits and a photo report will be produced to highlight the journeys and daily life of seasonal workers. These contents will feed notably the Instagram account @saisonnier_en_vendee and aim to showcase the diversity of the jobs involved.

Rail Europe Strengthens UK Offering with the BritRail Pass

The BritRail Pass, reserved for travelers residing outside the United Kingdom, offers flexible access to the National Rail network, including connections to major airports via the Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express and Stansted Express, as well as sleeper services such as the Caledonian Sleeper and the Night Riviera (berth reservations required).

For travel professionals, this product meets three priorities: operational simplicity, pricing flexibility, and the ability to build structured itineraries across Great Britain.

The portfolio includes national and regional passes, enabling advisers to design journeys focused on specific areas such as England, Scotland or the Southwest and South Wales, depending on the itinerary and the clients’ travel plans.

Des avantages supplémentaires pour le voyageur

The different passes available are :

BritRail Pass

BritRail England Pass

BritRail South West & South Wales Pass

BritRail Spirit of Scotland Pass (standard class only)

BritRail London Plus Pass

Most passes can be purchased in First or Second Class, with options for consecutive or flexible validity, as well as discounts for youths, seniors and children. Additional perks, such as 2-for-1 offers on certain attractions, are also available.

A strengthened B2B strategy driven by international demand

Rail Europe distributes a digital version of the pass, the M-Pass, via its B2B platforms, allowing agencies to manage both the booking and the activation days of travel thanks to a QR code. This mobile-first solution reduces operational complexity while preserving total flexibility for the final traveler.

With a growing international demand for Great Britain and a strong interest in destinations beyond London, Rail Europe believes that the BritRail Pass represents an important lever to develop international distribution and encourage rail itineraries across the entire British territory.

According to Björn Bender, CEO of Rail Europe, “The BritRail Pass strengthens our role as experts in European rail passes.

It complements our existing portfolio and enables our global business partners to build more flexible and higher-value itineraries in Great Britain, particularly in long-haul markets where regional exploration is becoming increasingly important.

Brittany: How the Ker Lorient Pass Is Revolutionizing Sustainable Tourism

Ker [care] Lorient, premier dispositif français inspiré du modèle danois « CopenPay, CLO & CLEM-LBST

IFTM TourMaG Party

b[From May 18 to June 30, 2026, Lorient Bretagne Sud Tourisme innovates with “Ker [care] Lorient,” an initiative aimed at encouraging sustainable tourism anchored in the territory. ]b

Directly inspired by the Copenhagen-originated CopenPay model, the destination becomes the first in France to adopt this concept of “contributive tourism”.

Launched in the summer of 2024 in the Danish capital, the scheme aims to highlight the climate-positive efforts by tourists.

Thus, during their stay, travelers can benefit from a free lunch, a boat excursion offered, or a free bike rental, if they prefer the train rather than the plane to travel to Copenhagen, or the bike rather than the car once on site.

Back to France and to “Ker Lorient”.

Without shaming visitors, the principle is to celebrate responsible actions.

Ker Lorient: Concrete steps toward tourism with a positive impact

Vacationers who opt for a slower pace and help preserve the territory are rewarded with exclusive perks. An original invitation to explore Southern Brittany differently.

This pass, offered free of charge and sent by email after online registration, is aimed at visitors who stay at least two nights at the hotel, or three nights in a campsite or bed and breakfast, and who adopt an environmentally respectful approach.

Train, bike, hiking, boat-bus or even a car-free full day: every action counts.

In return, a network of local partners committed to sustainable practices offers specific perks and discounts.

Pass holders will, for example, have access to discounts on guided tours of the Le Minor hosiery workshop, to discounts on Sunday stays at the hotel, or to benefits with nautical operators and eco-responsible cafés in the region.

A concrete way to transform the visitor into a temporary resident and to effectively support the local economy.
