A dining offer focused on French know-how and sustainable development

At the heart of the setup, the fifty-seat dining area offers a menu of savory, sweet and vegetarian dishes refreshed throughout the day. The menu highlights French specialties, accompanied by a selection of wines, champagnes and local beers.

In terms of operational management of the site, procurement prioritizes locally sourced and seasonal products. The company also notes that it implements measures to reduce food waste and to sort and recycle all waste generated by the dining service.

Air France reorganizes the welcome for its most exclusive guests by unveiling its La Première lounge, completely redesigned during the summer of 2026.

This project extends the airport journey reorganization that began in 2024. It also accompanies the introduction of the new first-class suites aboard the Boeing 777-300ER.

The venue now features an expanded Sisley skincare area and a restaurant operated by chef Alain Ducasse. These arrangements aim to simplify and enhance travelers’ waiting experience before their flight.

Salon Air France: restructuring of dining, rest and wellness areas

The space reorganization centers around several activity hubs resized to accommodate travelers’ waiting times.

The dining area now has increased capacity with more tables. Table service offers a menu developed by the Alain Ducasse group, featuring dishes from classic French cuisine and vegetarian options. The wine and champagne selection is overseen by the airline’s head sommelier, Xavier Thuizat.

The main lounge area has been redesigned using screens and physical partitions to create individual alcoves. The furniture notably includes reissues of the Ribbon chair by designer Pierre Paulin.

The wellness hub, operated in partnership with the cosmetics brand Sisley, has undergone a technical expansion with the installation of a second treatment cabin, doubling the capacity to handle pre-flight skincare treatments.

The rest area features new individual nap cabins equipped with recliners and sleeping provisions. For professional needs, a work area now includes a closed acoustic booth dedicated to confidential telephone communications.

Adjacent private accommodation option

In addition to the shared lounge, passengers retain the possibility to reserve, for an additional fee, one of three private suites of 45m² laid out in the immediate vicinity.

These step apartments, two of which have a connecting access, include a living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a private bathroom as well as a private outdoor patio. Alain Ducasse’s catering service can be provided upon request, complemented by a welcome featuring caviar and champagne.

On March 6, 2026, the South Korean carrier Korean Air will inaugurate its brand-new lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), inside the Tom Bradley international terminal.

In the lead-up to this opening, nearly 200 guests, partners and industry stakeholders were able to preview the renovated facilities as early as February 26.

Designed by the Singapore-based firm LTW Designworks, the new lounge represents an investment of 65 billion South Korean won and required 22 months of construction. It is the airline’s first renovated lounge abroad, ahead of the forthcoming integration of Asiana Airlines with Korean Air.

Covering a total area of 1,675 m², the space becomes the airline’s largest lounge operated outside South Korea. It unfolds across two levels: the First Class lounge on the 6th floor, and the Miler Club & Prestige Class lounge on the 5th floor.

An interpretation of “modern Korean luxury”

Located on the upper levels of the terminal, the lounge benefits from expansive glass walls and a terrace with a balcony offering a panoramic view of the airport’s interior.

The objective is to create an open and bright environment.

The interior design highlights wooden textures and stone materials, embodying a refined vision of modern Korean luxury.

The space is also enriched with traditional Korean artworks: Buncheong ceramics, brush-and-ink paintings, and Dalhangari jars, blending Eastern heritage with contemporary international aesthetics.

A reimagined premium experience

The First Class lounge includes two private suites, an à la carte dining service with dishes prepared to order, as well as a bar offering craft cocktails and premium beverages crafted by professional bartenders.

On the Miler Club and Prestige Class lounges, an open kitchen allows chefs to prepare dishes on site. The offering also highlights local products, including artisanal beers from Southern California and a signature Los Angeles coffee.

Miler Club passengers can order certain dishes directly from their seats thanks to a digital system accessible via a QR code. Beyond dining, the space includes work zones, family areas and showers.

LAX, a strategic hub

Los Angeles International Airport is Korean Air’s primary North American gateway and a key hub linking Asia, the United States and Latin America.

The lounge will be accessible to eligible Korean Air passengers as well as premium clients of SkyTeam alliance partner airlines, giving them the opportunity to experience the airline’s signature hospitality.

After LAX, Korean Air will continue upgrading its lounge network at its major global hubs. Another renovated lounge is set to be inaugurated later this year at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York.

With the opening of this iconic lounge, Korean Air will further strengthen its presence at LAX while delivering a more refined and differentiated premium travel experience.

We will continue to invest in our services and our infrastructures to exceed the expectations of our international customers
“, said David Pacey, executive vice president and head of in-flight services and lounges at the airline.

Paris Gare de Lyon: The TGV INOUI Lounge Gets a Makeover

IFTM TourMaG Party

On April 21, 2026, the Grand Voyageur Le Club lounge TGV INOUI at Paris Gare de Lyon officially reopened after a complete renovation.

Located at the heart of the station, in the Galerie des fresques – connecting Halls 1 and 2 – the lounge spans a total area of 630 m2, up from 610 m2 previously thanks to a 20 m2 extension on the ground floor and a 4% increase in seating.

With around 400,000 travelers in 2025, it is accessible to Grand Voyageur Le Club members and eligible corporate clients, who wish to work or unwind before their journey.

To better meet its clientele’s expectations, the lounge is now organized around two distinct spaces.

The ground floor is dedicated to guests making short stops, under 15 minutes, and offers immediate access to all services.

Upstairs, a new layout of the spaces, paired with a higher-end range of services and amenities, enables guests to relax and work in a calm environment.

In the relaxation areas, work zones or the individual telephone booths, each visitor can enjoy the full range of services including free Wi-Fi, electrical and USB outlets, the news and entertainment portal, a selection of beverages, etc.

A Reduced Environmental Footprint

The renovation of this lounge took into account a number of ecological criteria, such as the use of responsible materials – the furniture and construction elements are sourced from the European Union, durable and recyclable.

Likewise, the historic joinery has been restored exactly as before, while incorporating optimized thermal standards.

Furthermore, an airlock helps prevent heat loss or gain depending on the season.

Among the other measures implemented: the broad use of sorted recycling bins, a selection of organic hot drinks sourced from fair trade, the option to use your own mug at the coffee machine, and the reduction of paper by offering on-site newspapers and digital press.

* SNCF Voyageurs has set up a loyalty program that offers preferential deals for its premium customers. Launched in 2012, this program evolved in 2021 and comprises 2 statuses: Grand Voyageur and Grand Voyageur Le Club, the latter giving access to all Grand Voyageur TGV INOUI lounges. The progression from one status to another depends on the frequency and volume of purchases made each year.
