Disneyland Paris Announces New Parade and Space Mountain’s Return

MSC Croisières

On the occasion of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, held from August 14 to 16, 2026 in Anaheim, California, Disneyland Paris unveiled several innovations that will enrich its offerings in the coming years.

Highlights include a new daytime parade anticipated for 2028, a fresh interpretation of Space Mountain – From Earth to the Moon – and new details about the upcoming immersive zone dedicated to The Lion King at Disney Adventure World.

Disneyland Park will welcome in 2028 a new daytime parade, the first since 2017. Presented as an exclusive creation for Disneyland Paris, it will run daily and become one of the park’s new daytime entertainment highlights.

Led by Mickey Mouse and his friends, the parade will feature several iconic characters from the Disney universe, among them Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Miguel from Disney/Pixar’s Coco. New floats will blend design with cutting-edge technology around the theme of magic and dreams.

The project required more than 10,000 hours of technical research and development, as well as nearly 225 sketches dedicated to costumes, wigs, and makeup.

Space Mountain Returns to Its Original Story

Another announcement concerns the Disneyland Park: Space Mountain will receive a new artistic direction inspired by its original incarnation, Space Mountain – From Earth to the Moon.

Opened in 1995, the attraction drew on Jules Verne’s novel and offered a retro-futuristic world paired with an immersive experience.

After ten years under the Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain theme, the ride is therefore set to reclaim the spirit of its initial design. The current version is slated to close at the end of 2027 to allow several months of renovation.

Disneyland Paris stresses that the project will not be a mere reproduction of the 1995 attraction. The work will include technical and maintenance improvements, new sets and props, and a redesigned queue.

The narrative will also be revisited, framed by an idealized vision of humanity’s early voyages to the Moon, rendered in a steampunk style faithful to the Discoveryland universe.

Disneyland Paris further notes that elements of the original scenery will be integrated with new installations, while the technical improvements accumulated over more than 30 years will be retained.

This transformation is part of the “New Magic” program, recently launched by Disneyland Paris to evolve certain historic attractions and refresh the visitor experience.

The Lion King: Scar Joins the Upcoming Attraction

At Disney Adventure World, Disneyland Paris is also continuing the construction of its forthcoming immersive zone dedicated to The Lion King.

The park revealed at D23 new details about the attraction, notably the presence of Scar in the form of an Audio-Animtronics figure.

The character will appear in a new confrontation scene with Simba, directly inspired by the film’s iconic battle. This will mark Scar’s first Audio-Animatronics figure presentation within this attraction.

The future zone will constitute the first immersive world dedicated to The Lion King in a Disney park. Work began in the autumn of 2025, after the foundations were completed, near Adventure Bay and World of Frozen.

The area will span roughly 30,000 square meters and will include the attraction, a shop, a dining space, and meet-and-greet areas for character interactions.

A Transformation That Continues at Disney Adventure World

These announcements are part of a significant evolution phase for Disneyland Paris.

The development of Disney Adventure World continues, notably following the opening of World of Frozen and several new experiences.

The next milestone announced will be the arrival of Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, a ride inspired by the Disney/Pixar film Up, which is slated to open next year on Adventure Way, opposite Rapunzel’s Tangled Spin.

Tourism in Paris: July 2026 Sees a Slight Uptick

Parisian tourism registered a slight improvement in July 2026.

According to the latest barometer from Paris je t’aime – Office de tourisme, foreign air arrivals reached 1.2 million for the month, i.e. a rise of 0.7% year-on-year.

In the same period, overnight tourism in the Grand Paris rose by 1.8%, with a rise of 2.9% for French visitors and a 1.6% increase for foreign clientele.

Hotel activity also follows this trend. The occupancy rate of Parisian establishments stood at 85.1% in July, up 1.4% compared with July 2025.

Overall, since the start of the year, the number of tourists registered in the Grand Paris has increased by 1.9% compared with the same period in 2025.

Des marchés internationaux aux évolutions contrastées

The dynamics remain different depending on the markets. Several foreign clientele strengthened their presence in the capital in July. This is notably the case for the United States (+2.3%), China (+7%), and Mexico (+13.9%).

Conversely, some source markets recorded a drop in demand. Arrivals of Italian tourists fell by 7.1%, Canadians by 3.9% and Spaniards by 4.5%.

This contrasting evolution is also seen at a geographic level. The central districts as well as the east and south of Paris registered hotel occupancy increases of over 3%.

The 13th, 14th and 15th arrondissements notably benefited from the Esports World Cup, with an average occupancy rate up by 3.2%.

Conversely, western Paris experienced a decline of 2.6% compared with July 2025.

A rentrée driven by major events

After a month of August traditionally calmer, Paris should resume sustained activity starting in September.

The autumn events calendar looks particularly dense, with several concerts, trade shows, conferences and international gatherings.

The month will begin notably with PLK’s concert at the Stade de France on September 5, followed by IPEM at the Palais des Congrès, from September 8 to 10. Several Céline Dion dates are also scheduled during the month.

The visit of the Pope, with a visit and a mass planned around September 25, should also support hotel demand. Paris je t’aime estimates at this stage that this event could generate 5.9 percentage points of hotel occupancy.

The end of the month will be particularly busy with SILMO, then Batimat from September 28 to October 1 at Porte de Versailles. The September 29, the event’s impact is estimated at +8.7 percentage points of hotel occupancy.

Despite this schedule, hotel bookings for September do not yet fully reflect this momentum. The projected occupancy rate remains at a slight decline of 0.4% compared with September 2025. Air bookings, however, appear better oriented, with an expected rise of 1.2% for the month.

October better oriented

The outlook is more favorable for October. The projected hotel occupancy rate currently shows a 2.6% year-on-year rise.

Several major events are expected to help sustain activity, including the SIAL at Villepinte, several large congresses, Paris Games Week, and the NFL game scheduled at the Stade de France on October 25.

The end of the year should also benefit from a dense events calendar. Several peak attendance periods are anticipated in October, notably around Batimat, the Journées Francophones de Radiologie (JFR), Produrable, Gazelec and several Céline Dion concerts.

Late November and early December, other major professional events are expected to take over, with notably the ADF, Journées de Dermatologie (JDP), All4Pack, the Nautic Show, Pollutec or the Horse Grand Prix.

In the medium term, Paris je t’aime considers that the outlook remains favorable, even though performances are expected to continue varying strongly across markets. At present, the tourism office estimates that the number of tourists for the entire year 2026 should be very slightly below that recorded in 2025.

The first indicators for 2027 are nevertheless encouraging. Forecast air bookings for the first half show positive changes on several strategic markets, notably the United States, China, Brazil, Japan, India and South Korea.

For the three upcoming months, the reservation data recorded as of August 10 from ForwardKeys/Amadeus nonetheless show a strong disparity between markets.

The expected air arrivals from September to November are rising particularly for Saudi Arabia (+23.1%), Mexico (+18.7%), Brazil (+14.9%), Japan (+9.3%) and Canada (+3.8%).

Conversely, bookings are down for the United States (-7.3%), Italy (-17.5%), Spain (-14.5%), Australia (-13.6%) and South Korea (-33.1%).

The Paris destination will also have to contend with evolving travel behaviors, marked by greater attention to value for money, shorter European stays, a search for proximity and rising expectations regarding sustainable tourism.

European Heritage Days 2026: Discover Paris Museums in a New Way

MSC Croisières

The City of Paris Museums will participate in the 43rd European Heritage Days, on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026.

On this occasion, the institutions will offer the public a program that is free of charge, structured around the two national themes: the Bicentennial of Photography and Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reimagine.

Over two days, visitors will rediscover the collections and the buildings of Parisian museums through formats specifically designed for the event.

The program also aims to highlight conservation professions, the know-how related to heritage, and new forms of mediation.

La photographie à l’honneur

In the framework of the bicentennial of photography, several institutions will offer sessions devoted to the history and techniques of photography.

At the Museum of the Liberation of Paris – General Leclerc – Jean Moulin, an urban trail will allow visitors to follow in the steps of Robert Capa and revisit sites associated with his famous photographs of the Liberation of Paris.

A meeting with Thomas Consani, an artist-printer at Picto, a historic laboratory of Robert Capa, will also allow discovery of the techniques and know-how linked to analog photography.

At the Zadkine Museum, visitors will be able to experiment with the cyanotype, an ancient photographic process, notably by creating a cyan herbarium or by printing a sculpture preserved in the collections.

Le patrimoine face aux nouveaux usages

The second theme of this edition, dedicated to heritage at risk, will be addressed notably through experiences aimed at renewing the relationship between the public and the collections.

The Cernuschi Museum will partner with the company Aika to present “Like a Wheel Within a Wheel“, an immersive virtual reality experience. This proposal intends to offer a contemporary reading of the works and heritage narratives. A meeting with curator Martina Köppel-Yang and the Aika team will allow dialogue on the issues of this approach.

At the Petit Palais, a giant scavenger hunt will invite participants to solve puzzles related to threats facing the museum and its works. An opportunity to discover, in a playful way, the behind-the-scenes of conservation and the various professions that contribute to preserving the collections.

The European Heritage Days will also be an occasion for families to discover the collections through hands-on engagement.

At the Zadkine Museum, workshops and interactive tours will notably allow exploring some emblematic works, such as The Bird with the Golden Plumage or The Head with Lead Eyes. The Bourdelle Museum will, in turn, offer activities around modeling, drawing, and working with materials.

At the Museum of the Liberation of Paris, children will be able to make their own diorama dedicated to the Liberation of Paris, guided by a lecturer. Family-friendly guided tours will also enable a playful revisit of the Liberation events and the Rol-Tanguy mission.

Musique, littérature et arts vivants au musée

The program will also bring the collections into dialogue with music, literature, and live performing arts.

At the Bourdelle Museum, the company Les Folies du temps will perform Beethoven’s Serenade Op. 8, while musical tours will offer another reading of Antoine Bourdelle’s works. At the Cognacq-Jay Museum, cellist Zoé Saubat will bring to life pieces by Bach and Marin Marais in the museum’s courtyard.

The Maison de Balzac will host several meetings around La Comédie humaine. Historian Judith Lyon-Caen will address the political dimension of Balzac’s work, while historian Jean-Claude Caron will explore the role of smells and perfumes in the writer’s universe.

At the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris, artist Pascal Beugré Tellier will present Parlons masculin, a performance in dialogue with Kerry James Marshall’s work.

The Musée de la Vie romantique will host, for its part, students from the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris – Ida Rubinstein for a program devoted to Chopin, Brahms, Wagner, and Liszt, as well as a performance by the company Les Dramaticules around European and world heritage tales.

Architecture, conservation et savoir-faire

Visitors will also have access to proposals focused on the architecture of museums, their collections, and the crafts that contribute to their preservation.

All of the European Heritage Days programming in the City of Paris museums will be freely accessible on 19 and 20 September 2026, subject to the rules of each establishment.

Practical information and schedules are available on Paris Musées and on the sites of the various museums.

Paris Île-de-France: Summer 2026 Confirms Tourism Momentum

Paris Île-de-France confirms its tourist appeal for the summer 2026.

Between June and August, the destination welcomed 13.3 million tourists, up by 3% compared with summer 2025. Even more dynamic, tourist spending reached 7 billion euros, up by 6%.

International visitors accounted for 7 million tourists, versus 6.3 million for domestic, French visitors. On the expenditure side, the first group generated 4.8 billion euros (+5%), while the French spent 2.2 billion euros (+9%).

Tourist expenditure thus grows twice as fast as attendance, reinforcing the spillovers for the accommodation, catering and retail sectors.

The United States Remain the Leading Foreign Market

With around 1 million visitors in the summer, the United States remains the destination’s leading international market. The United Kingdom and Spain follow, with nearly 500,000 visitors each, ahead of Germany and Belgium.

Visitor numbers are rising notably from Spain, the Netherlands and Canada, while the British market is dipping. This diversification of audiences helps reinforce the destination’s resilience.

The growth in tourism activity covers the entire Île-de-France region. Overnight stays rise by 6% across the region, with increases recorded in each of the eight departments.

The Val-d’Oise (+12%) and the Val-de-Marne (+11%) show the strongest gains, ahead of Seine-Saint-Denis (+8%). In Paris, overnight stays also rise by 5%.

The capital remains the main attraction hub, but these results illustrate a gradual diffusion of flows and tourism spillovers beyond Paris.

A Season Driven by Major Events

The event calendar helped sustain summer attendance. The Top 14 final at the Stade de France, the arrival of the Tour de France on the Champs-Élysées, and the European Swimming Championships notably contributed to the destination’s appeal.

The Esports World Cup also stood out with 175,000 tickets sold, nearly double the previous edition, and more than 2 million visits to competition sites.

Over seven weeks, the event brought together 2,000 players, 200 clubs and visitors from more than 100 countries, boosting Paris’s visibility among a new generation of visitors.

First Half Already Greater Than 2019

The summer momentum continues a sustained dynamic since the start of the year. From January to June, Paris Île-de-France welcomed 24.7 million tourists, up 1% year over year and 4% compared with 2019.

Tourist spending reached 11.8 billion euros, up 4% year on year and up 17% compared with 2019. The hotel sector also confirms this trend with 34.1 million hotel stays in the first half, up 2% year on year and 6% compared with 2019.

Several events helped support flows since January, including the opening of Disney Adventure World, the Paris Marathon, Roland-Garros, which set a record with 727,000 spectators, as well as professional events VivaTech, Choose France and Eurosatory.

Positive Outlook for the Rest of the Year

The momentum is expected to continue in the second half of the year. Air bookings for September through December are up 4% year on year, with demand particularly strong from Asia (+12%), the Middle East (+11%) and Southeast Asia (+19%).

India, the United States, Japan and China stand out as promising markets. The coming months’ calendar, with Fashion Week, the Auto Show, SIAL Paris, Art Basel Paris and numerous sporting and cultural events, should continue to support activity.

For Valérie Pécresse, president of the Île-de-France Region, these results confirm “the strength of appeal” of the region and its ambition to ensure the benefits of tourism reach all territories.

Alexandra Dublanche, president of Choose Paris Region, also stresses the need to continue upgrading the offer and to encourage visitors to discover “the full richness and diversity” of the destination beyond the capital.

Disneyland Paris Dominates Tourism Influence on Instagram and TikTok

Hurtigruten

Disneyland Paris confirms its influence on social networks.

According to rankings unveiled by Kolsquare on July 29, 2026, the park tops the 100 travel and tourism brands most influential in France in the first half of the year, on both Instagram and TikTok.

This performance is measured using the Earned Media Value (EMV), an indicator that estimates the value generated by content and creators’ engagement.

On Instagram, Disneyland Paris records an EMV of €14.3 million, ahead of Hôtel Martinez (€8.3 million) and Savoie Mont Blanc (€8.2 million). On TikTok, the park also remains in first place with €8.2 million, far above easyJet (€3.3 million) and Pairi Daiza (€2.1 million).

The ranking thus reveals two different dynamics : Instagram is still dominated by the strong presence of destinations and hotels, while TikTok places greater emphasis on content related to experience, entertainment and escape.

On Instagram, Tourlane ranks fourth with €6 million EMV, ahead of Vacances Léo Lagrange (€4.5 million), SNCF Voyageurs (€4.3 million), Explore la France (€4.2 million), Airbnb (€4.1 million), La Compagnie (€3.9 million) and the Carlton Cannes (€3.7 million).

On TikTok, Voyage Privé reaches €2 million EMV, followed by SNCF Voyageurs (€1.4 million), Futuroscope (€1.3 million), Booking.com and Le Puy du Fou (€1.2 million each), then GetYourGuide (€854,822) and Air France (€841,391).

In the attractions and leisure category, Disneyland Paris dominates on both platforms.

On Instagram, the Grand Palais finishes in second place with €3.5 million EMV, ahead of Le Puy du Fou (€2.9 million). The Vendée park climbs six spots in one year and records an engagement rate of 6.4%.

On TikTok, Pairi Daiza and Futuroscope complete the podium of the segment with respectively €2.1 million and €1.3 million EMV, while Le Puy du Fou ranks fourth with €1.2 million.

High-end hospitality performs on Instagram

In the hotel industry, Instagram remains particularly favorable to upscale establishments.

The Hôtel Martinez dominates the segment with €8.3 million EMV and an engagement rate of 26.2%. The Carlton Cannes follows with €3.7 million, ahead of Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic, at €2.9 million. This latter property climbs six places in the overall ranking.

On TikTok, the hierarchy is different. ibis hotels France takes the lead with €731,496 EMV, ahead of Accor (€549,602) and the TOO Hotel Paris (€362,455).

The air and rail sector also shows gaps between the networks. SNCF Voyageurs dominates on Instagram with €4.3 million EMV, ahead of La Compagnie (€3.9 million) and Air Tahiti Nui (€3.2 million). The Compagnie stands out for its rise of 187 places in the overall ranking.

On TikTok, easyJet takes the top position in the segment with €3.3 million EMV, ahead of SNCF Voyageurs (€1.4 million) and Air France (€841,391).

On the side of tour operators and booking platforms, Tourlane leads Instagram with €6 million EMV, ahead of Vacances Léo Lagrange (€4.5 million) and Airbnb (€4.1 million). Vacances Léo Lagrange posts a gain of 43 places in the overall ranking and shows an engagement rate of 16.4%. On TikTok, Voyage Privé dominates the segment with €2 million EMV and an engagement rate of 23.7%, ahead of Booking.com (€1.2 million) and GetYourGuide (€854,822).

Destinations also show different profiles depending on the network. Savoie Mont Blanc tops Instagram with €8.2 million EMV, ahead of Explore la France (€4.2 million) and the Occitanie Regional Tourism Committee (€2.9 million). La Plagne, Tourisme Bretagne and Courchevel are also among the most visible destinations.

On TikTok, Visit Cyprus dominates the segment. Les Ménuires, with €88,479 EMV, becomes the French destination with the highest ranking, ahead of GoTürkiye which completes the podium.

The performance of actors present in France is also reflected at the European level.

On Instagram, ten tourism actors based in France appear in the European Top 50. Disneyland Paris holds first place with €30.3 million EMV, ahead of Turkish Airlines and Airbnb. The Hôtel Martinez ranks sixth with €12.3 million, while Savoie Mont Blanc reaches 13th position.

On TikTok, nine French-based actors are included in the European Top 50. Disneyland Paris again remains in first place, with €31.4 million EMV. Voyage Privé is 14th, Futuroscope 17th, SNCF Voyageurs 21st and Puy du Fou 25th. Air France, Parc Astérix, ibis hotels France and Accor complete the French representation.

Beyond the volume of content, these results highlight the importance of engagement and the ability of tourist brands to generate content around experiences that are easily shareable.

Disneyland Paris thus appears as the leading actor in the sector in terms of influence on the two studied platforms, while other brands stand out more according to their universe and the uses particular to each social network.

Business Travel: Paris Region Confirms Global Leadership

Hurtigruten

Despite economic and geopolitical uncertainties, business tourism in Île-de-France is showing solid indicators.

The CCI Paris Île-de-France has just published its 2026 assessment focused on the activity of the region’s main exhibition parks and convention centers.

With 24 major sites representing nearly 700,000 m² of covered exhibition space, Paris Île-de-France offers the leading European supply of infrastructures dedicated to professional encounters.

362 trade shows and 7 million visitors in 2025

In 2025, the 24 main Île-de-France sites hosted 362 trade shows, drawing together 100,487 exhibiting companies and 7 million visitors.

According to the CCI, these events generated 4.1 billion euros in economic impact for the Île-de-France region. Exchanges between exhibitors and visitors, meanwhile, accounted for 18.2 billion euros in turnover.

Beyond trade shows, congress activity also contributes to the economic weight of the business tourism sector in the region. Paris thus rose to the second place in the ICCA ranking of cities hosting the most international congresses in 2025.

Throughout the year, the capital and its region hosted 1,200 congresses, for a total of 716,195 delegates. International visitors represented 18.6% of participants. This activity generated 942 million euros in economic impact, according to data released by the CCI Paris Île-de-France.

Île-de-France infrastructures are not limited to trade shows and congresses. In 2025, they also hosted 1,204 other events, including corporate events, shows, cultural and sporting gatherings, examinations, training sessions and other meetings.

These events brought together 2.5 million participants. Overall, this confirms the sector’s weight in the regional tourism economy, particularly for hotels, dining, retail and transportation.

Major professional events support activity in 2026

The first available indicators for 2026 remain favorable, notably in the international congress segment.

More than 10 major international congresses, each drawing over 5,000 participants, are scheduled or have taken place this year. Among them are notably JFHOD, EuroPCR, ISTH, SFO, IPEM and the congress of ADF, as well as the congress of the French Society of Rheumatology.

The trade show sector also continued its progression in the first half of 2026. Several large-scale events helped sustain this dynamic, among them Wine Paris, VivaTech, Eurosatory, JEC World, Global Industrie, Who’s Next and Paris Packaging Week.

The trend is nonetheless less uniform on the consumer/public events side. The CCI reports more nuanced attendance results, despite growth in the number of exhibitors and net occupied space compared with the previous year.

A calendar already favorable for 2027

The prospects remain positive for 2027 as well, with several major international events already scheduled, including IMCAS, JEPU and COGI.

For Dominique Restino, president of CCI Paris Île-de-France, the sector’s results testify to its economic weight for the region.

Trade shows, congresses and professional events generate billions of euros in economic spillovers,” he notes, also highlighting their contribution to employment and the international visibility of Île-de-France.

Paris Welcomed About 3.8 Million Tourists in June 2026

Costa Rica

The Paris tourism traffic shows a slight uptick in June 2026.

According to the Paris tourist office barometer – Paris je t’aime, the destination welcomed around 3.8 million visitors during the month.

Air arrivals rose by 2.4% compared with June 2025. This growth, however, masks significant differences depending on markets. The Spanish (+34.1%) and Portuguese (+19.5%) markets show the strongest gains, followed by the Polish and Mexican markets (+15.7%).

Conversely, the United Kingdom recorded a decline of 19.1%, ahead of Brazil (-11.7%), India (-11.2%) and Germany (-5.4%).

The French clientele also shows a marked rise. According to Orange Flux Vision Tourisme data, the number of overnight stays by French tourists in Greater Paris increased by 19.3% year over year.

Overall, overnight tourist presence rises by 3% for the entire month of June. Hotel occupancy remains, however, almost stable (+0.1%). This trend should be viewed in the context of a less favorable comparison base, notably due to the absence of the Bourget Air Show in 2026.

Also read: Tourism: Serge Papin expresses confidence for the summer season

A More Contrasting Start to July

The early days of July show a less uniform trend.

Between July 1 and 12, hotel occupancy remains slightly higher than last year (+0.4%), while overnight tourism presence falls by 3.2%.

This decline occurs despite several events likely to support attendance, including The Weeknd concerts at the Stade de France, Bad Bunny at the Plenitude Arena, and the launch of the Esports World Cup at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

The Paris Heatwave

Weather also weighed on tourist behavior. During the heatwave episode from June 20 to 28, overnight tourist presence rose by 1.4% compared with 2025, roughly matching the trend observed for the reference period spanning from the start of June to mid-July (+1.3%).

The heat spell from July 7 to 13 was, however, accompanied by a more pronounced decline of 7.2%. The data thus suggest a greater impact of the heat on trip duration, movements, and last-minute bookings.

The heatwave also seems to have accelerated Parisians’ departures, with resident presence lower than that observed for the rest of June. These results should, however, be interpreted with caution, as the last weekend of June was also marked by the cancellations of Solidays and the Pride March.

In this context, the opening of new swimming spaces appears as an adaptation to the intense heat. In 2025, swims in the Seine attracted 100,000 people, including 13% international tourists.

In 2026, swimming in the Canal Saint-Martin generated more than 1,300 online media articles, largely positive or balanced.

Cautiously Positive Prospects for the Coming Months

The outlook for the next three months remains broadly favorable. Air bookings for August, September and October are up by 2.9%, representing around 3.2 million anticipated tourist arrivals.

The month of August is expected to remain relatively stable (+0.7%). The projected hotel occupancy rate is currently forecast to rise by 1.6%, supported in particular by the Esports World Cup, the CIGRE conference, and last-minute bookings.

September appears more mixed. Air arrivals are expected to increase by 2.1%, but the projected hotel occupancy rate remains 1.6 percentage points lower than in 2025.

The return to routine could nonetheless be boosted by a dense events calendar, including concerts by PLK, Jay-Z and Céline Dion, as well as the IPEM and Batimat trade shows.

October appears, at this stage, as the most dynamic month. Air arrivals are expected to rise by 5.8%, driven notably by the American, Chinese, Canadian, Mexican and Indian markets. Several professional engagements are also expected to support attendance, including SIAL and the French Radiology Days at the Palais des Congrès.

Air France Launches Paris Stopover to Transform Layovers into Tourist Stays

Air France et Extime Travel lancent officiellement « Paris Stopover » - Depositphotos.com @alexeynovikov

Costa Rica

Vedettes de Paris Opens a Bar Without Cans or Bottles

CroisiEurope

Two years after electrifying its boats, Vedettes de Paris takes a new step in its environmental strategy.

The company, which is marking its 50th anniversary this year, has just inaugurated “Le Trincoeur”, a new bar concept installed aboard its open-top vessel Le Montparnasse.

The innovation rests on a draught-distribution system for beers, cocktails, waters and non-alcoholic beverages. The aim is to eliminate cans and reduce packaging, while simplifying logistics on board.

A 90-kg Saving Over the Season

Thanks to an integrated potable water tank, the boat can carry up to 500 liters of beverages. For its non-alcoholic offering, Vedettes de Paris teamed up with Necense, a Parisian company specializing in artisanal infused drinks.

Iced tea, lemonade or ginger beer are prepared directly on board, with a sugar content advertised as 30% lower than that of traditional sodas.

The company estimates that this setup will save, over a seven-month season, nearly 90 kg of cans and 80 kg of cardboard. The crew should also gain about an hour per day on bar setup and restocking operations.

Vedettes de Paris also highlights a menu favoring French references, in a décor inspired by Parisian bistros. Rolled out experimentally on Le Montparnasse, the concept could subsequently be extended to the entire fleet.
