Salaün Holidays: Millionaire Salespeople Rewarded With a Trip to Armenia

Salaün Holidays : les vendeurs millionnaires récompensés par un voyage en Arménie

TAP Air Portugal

During the fifth convention of the SNA network, held in Hammamet from November 22 to 25, 2025, Salaün Holidays highlighted the top sellers of the SN AGENCES and BT Holidays networks who had surpassed the symbolic threshold of 1 million euros in business volume.

To reward this commitment, these Millionaires were invited from June 18 to 22, 2026 for a reward trip to Armenia.

For five days, the laureates explored the many facets of a country with a millennial history, regarded as the world’s first Christian state. The program notably allowed participants to visit the capital Yerevan, the spiritual center of Etchmiadzin, the emblematic monasteries of Geghard, Khor Virap and Noravank, as well as the spectacular landscapes of Lake Sevan and the famous Garni basaltic gorge.

Beyond the heritage, the stay left a lasting impression thanks to immersive experiences such as tastings of local specialties and wines, or a private concert of spiritual chants in the unique setting of Geghard Monastery.

Des partenaires mobilisés pour une expérience optimale

This operation was carried out with the support of partners committed alongside Salaün Holidays. Turkish Airlines supported the trip as the transport partner, represented on site by the sales representative Nabila Essraoui.

The broker Assurever was also present at this milestone, represented by Jules Guérineau for the Western region, illustrating the quality and proximity that drive this partnership.

On site, the program was designed and orchestrated by Armroutes, a destination specialist DMC led by Gagik Hakobyan. The group was thus able to explore Armenia in ideal conditions alongside Alina Khatchatryan, a French-speaking guide whose professionalism and infectious passion greatly contributed to the success of the stay.

Franck Autret, General Director of the Salaün Holidays network, underlined that this trip fully demonstrated the commitment to recognizing the dedication and performance of teams while allowing them to discover authentic destinations that carry meaning and emotion.

Salaün Holidays Launches Silk Road Brochure

Salaün Holidays broadens its Asia program with a new brochure entirely devoted to the Silk Road routes.

The tour operator gathers a selection of itineraries across several Central Asian regions, from China to the ancient caravanserai towns of Uzbekistan, passing through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.

Historic cities, turquoise domes, deserts, steppes and mountain chains form the thread running through this new collection.

Some of the proposed itineraries are exclusive and unprecedented, with the aim of showing travelers the different facets of territories shaped by centuries of commercial and cultural exchanges.

Salaün Holidays asserts a historical expertise in Uzbekistan

This new brochure continues the group’s ongoing presence on the destination. “We have been programming Uzbekistan since 1999“, notes Michel Salaün, president of the eponymous group.

According to the executive, 12,600 travelers have discovered the country over the past 27 years thanks to the tour operator’s programming, which today positions itself as the leader on this destination.

It is therefore appropriate to devote a special brochure to the Silk Road and its mythical itineraries“, says Michel Salaün. The brochure thus assembles guided tours, small-group journeys as well as tailor-made and on-demand offers.

The offering aims to meet different traveler profiles, whether they wish to follow an organized itinerary or build a personalized trip.

Salaün Holidays notably includes services comprising flights, accommodations, transfers, French-speaking guides and excursions.

Tours between historic cities and vast expanses

Among the main itineraries on offer is the circuit “Uzbekistan and the Splendors of the Silk Road”, organized for 10 days and 9 nights. The trip notably includes visits to Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, as well as immersive experiences and encounters with local populations.

The brochure also includes several longer circuits. “The Silk Road from Urgench to Tashkent”, spanning 12 days and 10 nights, offers a discovery of Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand, three emblematic cities in Silk Road history.

Another highlighted itinerary is “The Great Crossing of Central Asia”, a journey of 15 days and 14 nights across three former Soviet republics of Central Asia. The circuit combines explorations of steppes, mountains and historic cities, tracing the paths of the ancient trade routes.

A program dedicated to small groups

Salaün Holidays is also developing a small-group travel offering. “The Grand Tour of Uzbekistan, Orient Heritage and Caravanserai Splendors“, scheduled for 15 days and 13 nights, links notably Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand. The itinerary emphasizes local experiences, with village visits, a night in a yurt, a lunch with a local family as well as the discovery of Uzbek crafts and daily life.

Another trip of 13 days and 11 nights combines Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The route takes travelers through deserts, UNESCO-listed historic cities and several iconic monuments of Islamic architecture.

The new brochure also offers itineraries tied to major regional calendar highlights. The circuit “Winter Legends on the Silk Road”, organized over 8 days and 6 nights, allows celebrating the New Year in Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand.

Salaün Holidays also schedules a trip around Navruz, the spring festival celebrated for more than 2,500 years in Central Asia. Over 11 days and 9 nights, the itinerary combines discovering the festival and its traditions with exploring the main historical milestones of the Silk Road.

Salaün Holidays Tests a Mobile Travel Agency in Markets

Salaün Holidays teste une agence de voyages mobile sur les marchés - Photo : Salaün Holidays

Costa Rica

What if your next trip was planned between buying a few vegetables and picking up a local cheese?

A start slowed by the heatwave

The tour, however, began under unusual conditions. The first stops coincided with the heatwave that hit France in late June.

We started in the middle of a heatwave, which obviously didn’t help. On the first day, there weren’t many people at the market with nearly 40 °C“, acknowledges Franck Autret.

The following days proved more encouraging. “We had more contacts with traders than visitors at first, but also several inquiries and quotes. I wouldn’t say we are making sales every day, but this first test is quite interesting. The concept arouses curiosity and the initial feedback is positive.

According to the group, the stops at Longny-les-Villages and Bellême notably allowed measuring public interest, both from exhibitors and residents.

An experiment that could be extended

This first tour will continue until July 17, 2026 on several markets in Sarthe and Orne.

At its end, Salaün Holidays will draw an initial assessment before deciding on the next steps.

If the idea of an itinerant agency year-round does not seem on the agenda, the concept could return in the autumn in another region. “If we find the experience to be conclusive, we could renew the operation in the autumn on another territory. In the long term, it’s a concept that could be sustained, or even developed“, says Franck Autret.

Stars 80 Farewell Tour: Artists Visit Salaün Holidays

A Final Symbolic Step

For this final set of concerts, several iconic figures were present during the visit, including Patrick Hernandez, Jean-Pierre Mader, Émile et Images, Phil Barney, Christiane (Zouk Machine), Joniece Jamison, Vivien Savage, William (opening act) or Michael Jones.

The Salaün Group took advantage of this meeting to thank Décibels Productions and the tour partners for their loyalty.

The teams of Salaün Autocars were also praised for their commitment, as were the drivers who, over the years, have contributed to the logistical success of the tours.
