Air France Delays Groups Portal Upgrade to September 2026

This was a decision that had caused quite a stir among group specialists.

Last week, we revealed that Air France had decided to restrict access to TIGRE Web, its platform dedicated to group bookings, to only IATA-accredited agencies.

This decision was to take effect on July 1, 2026.

The Entreprises du Voyage conducted active lobbying to grant more time to the affected agencies.

Since then, we have reached out to Air France. We asked them to reassess their position and, at minimum, to provide more time for agencies to undertake the necessary steps.

They assured me they are working on the matter. I am hopeful that the company will postpone at least its decision to September 1.
“, we were told by Valérie Boned.

The message was well received and the instruction was applied.

Réservations “groupes” : Air France reporte sa décision

Initially planned for July 1, 2026, the implementation of this change is postponed to September 1, 2026 to give the affected agencies extra time to organize themselves“, the carrier announced in an email sent to sales points.

The message recalls that, after this date, non-IATA-accredited agencies will no longer be able to make new reservations “groups” via TIGRE Web.

They will benefit from limited access to ensure monitoring, management, and finalization of dossiers already confirmed before early September.

It will therefore be necessary either to obtain IATA accreditation, increasingly difficult to obtain, or to rely on a professional possessing the precious credential.

And obtaining it takes time, but it also requires administrative steps and training the teams in the use of a GDS.

Air France justifies this approach by the volonté of “structuring and securing the group reservation processes for the Company.”

We are going to become dependent on an issuing agency. Our request will be processed when it can be, sometimes several hours later. And we will no longer be able to book flights as soon as they open.” If we are not responsive, yield tariffs rise quickly, lamented last week a group tour operator.

This decision comes almost at the worst moment, as players face distrust from customers confronted with a geopolitical and economic crisis.

The fact of adding commercial validations to dossiers that have become more complex due to the war in the Middle East could slow the activity of distributors already worried about a noticeable drop in bookings.

Air France’s tougher stance toward group organizers is the result of a process that had already led the company to drastically shorten the window to confirm a group.

In the same breath, SNCF suspended its site dedicated to group travel earlier this year.

Jean-Pol Leclercq, Sales Director at RESANEO, explains: “We can understand how Air France’s announcement about ceasing direct group management for non-IATA agencies might cause a bit of anxiety among these agencies. And yet, there’s really no reason to stress because RESANEO takes over.

You can continue selling and assisting your clients without any technical or administrative barriers. We offer you the perfect way to secure your files in a flash, and I can share at least three solid reasons to choose us for your groups.

  • First: Whether you are IATA or not, our service is open to everyone. You keep control of your client while we handle everything else.
  • Second: With us, it will be zero stress and maximum expertise. With optimized rates, option tracking, name-list management, etc., our dedicated team takes care of everything. You’ll have the option to request early issuance of a group to lock in the fare and avoid possible spikes in kerosene prices.
  • Third: With our volumes and our agreements, you benefit from our bargaining power to secure better commercial terms.

And making a request is truly a piece of cake. All you need to do is go to the Quotations tab, then Group Quote, and follow the guided steps to provide all the necessary information about your group.

Resaneo also offers the direct flights calendar…

Jean-Pol explains: “Our flight calendar is far from being a gimmick. This tool lets you directly access the various rotation days of direct flights around the world. In short, Resaneo provides you with a clear and rapid overview of all flight possibilities. For agencies, it’s a precious time saver with proven efficiency, helping to improve productivity and facilitate sales. Just like white-label brands, the flight calendar is fully explained within the training programs we offer to our clients.”

… and a CO₂ emissions calculator

Resaneo provides you with a CO₂ emissions calculator

This calculator, developed by Google, known as the Travel Impact Model, is designed to estimate the CO₂ emissions of the flights shown by the booking engine.

The emissions for each flight, the average emissions for the route, and the difference between the two are displayed on the flight search results page.

The computation of these emissions is based on a methodology published by the European Environment Agency (EEA).

Jean-Pol Leclercq, Sales Director of Resaneo, specifies: “We want to make life easier for our agencies by continually adding more services, but we do so in a friendly and instantly understandable way. Indeed, beyond the number of bags included and the option to put a flight on hold, we also indicate whether the flight emits more or less CO₂ than the average for other flights on the same route.

We symbolize this with a small cloud ☁️, which helps you see whether the chosen flight sits within the lower or higher end of CO₂ emissions. Agencies can, if they wish, inform their clients about the carbon footprint of the flight they are considering. This also helps facilitate selling a direct flight, even if it is priced higher than a connecting one.

It’s simple and very complete, since hovering over the ☁️ reveals all the information.”

Jans Tours Switzerland: A New Milestone in the Group’s History

© Getty Images

Dream Yacht

Jans Tours Switzerland launched its first operations this year, with carefully crafted products, committed local partners, and a field team that brings the destination to life on a daily basis.

A step that naturally fits into the group’s evolution and that it was time to present more officially to our partners in the Francophone market.

A natural evolution rather than a strategic shift

At first glance, the link between Southeast Asia and Switzerland may seem surprising. Yet the logic is simple.

Jans Tours has always built its development around the same philosophy: strong destination expertise, teams close to the ground, and the ability to craft tailor-made trips that make sense.

After Indonesia, the Philippines and Malaysia, the group naturally continued its international expansion by opening up new perspectives in Europe. The France commercial office marked an important first step to strengthen ties with Francophone markets. The creation of Jans Tours Switzerland is in line with this continuity.

This is not about changing professions, but about widening the playing field.

Switzerland, a destination that ticks all the boxes today

If Switzerland today asserts itself as a new destination for Jans Tours, it is not by chance.

The market is evolving, and so are travelers’ expectations. There is a growing demand for trips that are smoother, more responsible, closer to nature and local experiences. Journeys where the travel itself becomes an experience, where one takes time to discover, to feel, to understand.

And in this regard, Switzerland has a real playbook.

Between its spectacular Alpine landscapes, its lakes, its perfectly preserved villages, and its railway network among the most efficient in the world, the country offers an ideal playground to build varied itineraries that are attractive and accessible year-round.

It is also a destination that speaks to several client typologies: FITs, groups, incentives, or premium trips.

A destination built closest to the ground

Since its launch, Jans Tours Switzerland has relied on an approach built from direct contact with the destination, nourished by in-depth and practical knowledge of the terrain.

The country lends itself particularly well to varied itineraries, thanks to the complementarity of its regions. Lucerne and Central Switzerland offer immediate access to the Alps and the country’s classics, between sparkling lakes and accessible mountains. The Bernese Oberland remains one of Switzerland’s most spectacular playgrounds, perfect for nature experiences and endless alpine panoramas. Farther south, Valais and Zermatt embody iconic Switzerland, with the presence of the Matterhorn, the country’s emblematic mountain, and a decidedly premium atmosphere. Graubünden and the Engadin entice with their more pristine landscapes and exceptional rail experiences, while the Geneva region and Lake Geneva combine urban elegance, terraced vineyards, and open views of the Alps.

The goal is not to offer a fixed package, but to build a flexible, inspiring, and customizable base that can adapt to the expectations and specific needs of each market and each client.

Today, it is mainly the experiences that give the destination its full personality.

Experiences that invite you to travel differently

In Switzerland, travel is part of the journey itself.

The panoramic trains are the best example. They are not mere transfers, but genuine experiences.

This is notably the case with the Bernina Express Pullman Class, where travelers board historic cars inspired by the 1930s to traverse some of the most beautiful UNESCO-listed Alpine landscapes.

On board, the pace slows. The scenery scrolls by. And the journey takes on a different dimension, almost timeless.

Another novelty in central Switzerland: the TITLIS Tower, with its Horizon Deck at the summit, offering a new panoramic experience in the heart of the Alps, at over 3,000 meters above sea level.

To these are added gastronomic experiences, regional festivals, and a particularly high-quality hotel offering, enabling the construction of very differentiating programs.

A clear commitment to sustainable tourism

One logic: connecting destinations and partners

With Jans Tours Switzerland, the group takes a new step in its development, without changing what defines its identity.

The ADN remains the same: strong destination expertise, solid local presence, and a constant commitment to supporting travel professionals in creating tailor-made programs.

And above all, a clear continuity between all destinations in the group.

From Indonesia to the Philippines, from Malaysia to Switzerland, our teams remain available to assist travel agencies and tour operators in their projects, delivering the same rigor, the same responsiveness, and the same on-the-ground passion.

Because ultimately, it doesn’t matter the destination: what matters is the experience we build together.
