Local Expertise at the Heart of the Value Proposition

One of MTS Globe’s major strengths lies in having its teams present directly in the destinations it serves. This local presence is a genuine differentiator.

Thanks to their in-depth on-the-ground knowledge, local teams can accompany partners throughout their clients’ stays, delivering rapid and tailored responses when needed.

This model also enables MTS Globe to develop close relationships with hoteliers and local providers, thereby facilitating access to competitive rates and tailor-made offers.

IFTM Top Resa: A Key Moment to Create Opportunities

The show provides a privileged moment to meet directly with the teams from MTS Globe’s various destinations, to deepen existing partnerships and to identify new opportunities for collaboration.

Appointments can be organized via the official EveryWhere platform, accessible on the show’s site after obtaining a badge, or directly with the MTS Globe teams (commercial contact below).

In parallel, MTS Globe will host a convivial moment at its stand with a champagne cocktail on the first day of the show. An ideal opportunity to meet the teams, chat in an informal setting, and learn more about one of the market’s leading international DMCs.

Jans Tours Invites Travel Professionals to IFTM 2026 to Shape Tomorrow’s Travel Across Four Destinations

IFTM: three days to reconnect and prepare for 2027

A few weeks ahead of IFTM Top Resa, Jans Tours is gearing up to reconnect with its partners and tourism professionals for three days of meetings and exchanges.

For the receptive side, the trade show provides a privileged moment to take time to discuss upcoming projects, present new offerings, and share the latest inspirations from local teams.

As journeys for 2027 are already being planned, traveler expectations are evolving too: more personalization, new experiences, itineraries that depart from the classics, lesser-known addresses, and programs tailored to specific clienteles — topics that can be discussed directly with Jans Tours teams.

The objective is simple: to engage with professionals, understand their needs and collaboratively build the upcoming journeys for their clients.

Four destinations, four ways of traveling

This year, Jans Tours arrives at IFTM with four destinations to present to industry professionals: Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Switzerland.

Four distinct realms, but a single approach: a strong local presence and teams that know their destinations from the inside out.

Indonesia remains at the heart of Jans Tours’ DNA. Bali, Java, Lombok, Sumatra, Komodo—these regions enable the creation of very diverse journeys, from a first-time visit to Indonesia to more hidden itineraries and tailored experiences.

In the Philippines, the team also guides professionals in building programs that blend islands, beaches, nature, encounters, and local experiences. A destination still full of opportunities to move beyond the most classical itineraries.

Malaysia continues to grow within the group. With its office in Kuala Lumpur, Jans Tours can rely on a locally based team to design programs aligned with travelers’ expectations and the needs of professionals.

And then, there is Switzerland.

A new destination joins the Jans Tours family

It’s one of the major novelties of this 2026 edition: Jans Tours expands its playing field with the opening of its office in Switzerland.

After Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia, this new presence marks another milestone in the group’s development.

Jans Tours Switzerland is now fully operational on the ground and completes Jans Tours’ international network.

The destination opens up new possibilities for professionals: individual trips, group departures, incentives, premium stays, or tailor-made itineraries can be crafted around Switzerland’s diverse landscapes and experiences.

From the Alps to the lakes, cities to villages, gastronomy to scenic railway experiences, Switzerland offers a particularly rich playground for designing bespoke programs.

And above all, as with its Asian destinations, Jans Tours relies on local knowledge and close relationships with professionals.

So, even if the Jans Tours stand is located in the Asia space, Swiss projects are, of course, welcome!

An international team gathered in Paris

For this edition of IFTM, several Jans Tours team members will travel to Paris.

Anthony, Audrey, Eva and Lucie from the France office will be on hand to welcome professionals and discuss their projects.

Also present will be Geoffrey, Rudi and Benjamin, directly from the Indonesia office, as well as Sylvain, representing the Malaysia office.

An international team that will allow visitors to meet both their usual contacts in France and the teams based directly at the destinations.

Because this is also Jans Tours’ hallmark: behind every program there are local teams who know the ground realities, partners, new offerings, and experiences truly worth presenting to travelers. There is also a France-based office, with dedicated contacts, enabling French-language exchanges and close, on-site support, without time-zone constraints.

IFTM will thus be an opportunity to (re)put faces to these teams, and to take time to discuss beyond emails and quote requests.

Malaysia featured at a second pavilion

Jans Tours will also be present at the pavilion of the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, stand A014.

A complementary presence that will allow professionals to come and discuss the destination, its novelties, and programming possibilities.

Malaysia indeed offers numerous options for building journeys that combine major highlights with more intimate experiences. With its local team based in Kuala Lumpur, Jans Tours continues developing this destination with agencies and tour operators.

Professionals will therefore be able to find Jans Tours at two different spots in the show, depending on their needs and projects.

IFTM 2026: Tech Zone Unveils Its Immersive Space

L’Espace Immersif de la Tech Zone proposera 11 expériences autour de l’IA et des technologies immersives à IFTM 2026 - Visuel : IFTM

Hurtigruten

The Immersive Space of the Tech Zone returns to IFTM 2026 with a program featuring 11 experiences dedicated to new technologies.

Located at Stand A075 and led by Travel Tech Factory and KaviAR Tech, this space aims to demonstrate in a concrete way how AI and immersive technologies can transform reception, guidance, destination discovery or even the planning of a trip.

Among the experiences offered, visitors will notably be able to create a postcard using AI, test virtual agents capable of exchanging in more than 50 languages, or discover an immersive 3D and 360° travel agency.

Other devices will enable attendees to experience mixed reality, to virtually visit destinations, or to exchange live with a professional located at the other end of the world.

The Immersive Space will also offer virtual reality headsets, an augmented reality exhibition, and solutions blending technology with artistic creation.

AI-Focused Training Sessions

In parallel, free 20-minute micro-trainings will be offered over the three days of the show by KaviAR Academy and 360 Sharing. They will cover, among other topics, yield management, customer relations, management and the everyday uses of AI in daily life.

The Immersive Space will also host a presentation dedicated to Rambouillet Tourist Office, which is deploying an embodied agent across its territory.

Marie Allantaz (IFTM): All Systems Go for the 2026 Edition

TAP Air Portugal

TourMaG : How does this 2026 edition, themed “The Value of Travel,” present itself?

Marie Allantaz All systems are green for this 2026 edition. We are aiming for an overall increase of 10 to 15%, returning to 2019 levels. We expect 1,700 brands, including about ten new destinations, and 30 Ministers as well as 25 Ambassadors.

We have observed that exhibitors and visitors have engaged earlier than in previous years. We are experiencing a very encouraging dynamic for Destination France, along with notable growth in the Africa and Europe zones, and the edition is shaping up to be a record for the Business Club. We are also welcoming a new official partner, Revolut Business, joining the venture for this edition.

TourMaG : What new formats will be proposed this year?

Marie Allantaz  :
This year we have worked to concretely enrich the salon experience, with several innovations. The most significant concerns the Business Club, with for the first time a matchmaking program built in partnership with the AFTM, GBTA, EPSA, EDV, 1001 Salles and APECA, to offer pre-qualified 1:1 meetings between exhibitors and corporate buyers.

On Thursday, September 17 from 8:30 a.m., travel managers and MICE buyers will be able to undertake 5 to 6 one-on-one interviews of 15 to 20 minutes. Appointments must be booked in advance and accepted by both parties via the Everywhere platform.

At the Village des Initiatives Durables by mN’O, we reinforce the Stand-Up for the Planet, which will be relayed more broadly on social networks, and launch live-recorded podcasts in partnership with (X)périentiel, broadcast subsequently on streaming platforms to amplify the reach of these exchanges: one focusing on Destination France to offer a new lens on the hexagonal offer, the other starting from the Village des Initiatives Durables by mN’O, enabling engagement beyond the Village walls with exhibitors who also have concrete elements to share on this topic.

TourMaG  : And what about the recurring events that have new features for some this year?

Marie Allantaz  :
The kickoff will be on Tuesday, September 15 with the Inaugural Conference followed by the International Panorama. For the first time, we will also organize a conference to highlight the tourism strategies of destinations.

We will also bring back the major barometers that are reference points in the profession: the Business Travel Barometer with EPSA, the MICE Barometer with Kactus, and the AI Barometer. This year, we launch a novelty: the Barometer of independent tourism professionals, which will help illuminate the major transformations of the sector.

Always with the aim of showcasing the talents in tourism, we will organize four competitions at the show:

– The Orchestra Start-Up Contest, now in its 3rd edition

– The 2nd edition of La Plume Verte by IFTM x ADONET, which this year will introduce a new distinction, the Prix Special Destinations ADONET.

– The Travel Agents Cup and the Travel Agents Cup Junior will continue to spotlight the current and future talents of the profession.

Finally, the collective intelligence workshops, the “Ruches”, return with more than 20 sessions across four zones of the show: the Village des Initiatives Durables, the Village de l’Attractivité, the Club Affaires and Destination France. They reach eight beyond the show.

“The Europe and Africa zones show sustained growth, and signals remain positive for the Middle East”

TourMaG : The year 2026 was marked by the international context; did it impact the show?

Marie Allantaz  :
The international context is obviously something we are watching very closely. Despite geopolitical turbulence, we are recording engagement that is more pronounced earlier than ever. As indicated, the Europe and Africa zones show sustained growth, and, against all odds, signals remain positive for the Middle East.

On the substantive level, the international context directly nourishes our conference program. We address head-on topics such as airline-purchasing strategies in an unstable world, new destination dynamics, and ongoing geographic repositionings.

TourMaG  : Business travel, Travel Tech: what will be the main highlights?

Marie Allantaz  :
Business travel occupies a central place in this edition, with a Club Affaires that is taking on a new dimension. In addition to the 1:1 matchmaking program mentioned earlier, the space will host collective intelligence workshops and the AFTM round tables on very concrete topics: AI as a productivity lever, airline-purchasing strategies in an unstable context, electronic invoicing, and the question of MICE intermediation.

The workshop program proposed by GBTA will complement the arrangement in parallel. On the Travel Tech side, the Agora room will be largely dedicated to innovations and digital, with conferences on the AI Barometer, digital strategies in transport, acquisition costs and CRM, and the opening of European rail for OTAs.

The Tech Zone will this year offer an unprecedented immersive journey in several stages, including one step that features an immersive agency installed in a shopping arcade for direct booking of cruise stays, and the possibility of direct matchmaking during the show.

“We are seeing the arrival of new exhibitor destinations”

TourMaG : Any innovations on the travel agencies side?

Marie Allantaz  :
Travel agencies are once again at the heart of this edition. After an 8% increase in their attendance in 2025, we are working to further enhance their experience at the show.

The Village des Réseaux and the AGV lounge remain their reference spaces for networking and exchanges. The “Conversations” hosted with the HelpDesk of Tourism Pros will offer content to enable travel agents to discuss their daily work and to collectively find solutions to the challenges inherent to their trade.

And of course, the Travel Agents Cup and the Travel Agents Cup Junior remain the essential events to showcase and celebrate the profession.

TourMaG  : Will there be any destination novelties?

Marie Allantaz  :
We are seeing new exhibitor destinations arriving, such as Cambodia and Lithuania, and we note returns like Ivory Coast. Uzbekistan will, of course, have a premier place this edition as the Country of Honor 2026.

The French are indeed traveling more and more within the country as its many assets become even more evident. A rich program of animations will be offered in this context.

Destination France receives special attention this year, with a village built in co-construction with Ty-Win and France DMC Alliance, a new visit route, micro-practical trainings such as selling France differently, experiences and offers, a digital catalog, and collective intelligence workshops bringing together receptive partners, distributors and institutions.

Finally, the Africa Convention, with a dedicated hall for two days of conferences and B2B meetings, and the confirmed growth of the Europe region, reflect the new geographic dynamics that the show accompanies and amplifies.

The IFTM show will also host DIGITRIPS’ supplier teams this year: Flight teams for airline content, Hotel teams for accommodation and land content, as well as the advertising arm.

This proximity to tourism professionals is at the heart of DIGITRIPS’ philosophy: in a digital world, human interaction remains essential! The teams will be available to support both independent agencies and networks or major accounts, with tailored recommendations.

To Win: the iconic DIGITRIPS suitcases!

The legendary DIGITRIPS suitcases are back and getting a makeover! As every year, travel agents will have the chance to participate daily in a contest to win a suitcase. This year, the design gets a refresh: waterproof fabric and colors yellow or navy blue for the winners!

To participate, it’s simple: a QR code will be available directly at the stand F054. In just a few seconds, visitors can try their luck and, if drawn, leave with equipment that will prove useful for their upcoming business trips… or personal getaways.

Airplane tickets to win every day at the stand

In addition to the suitcases, DIGITRIPS will also run a raffle at its stand that will attract many: every day of the show, two airline tickets will be up for grabs.

This daily operation is organized in collaboration with three partner airlines of DIGITRIPS: Air Austral, Air Europa, and Royal Air Maroc. A wonderful way to highlight the partners of DIGITRIPS and offer a unique experience to visitors over the three days of the show.

For its grand edition in 2026, the leading professional trade show IFTM adds a new cultural event: Les Escales Littéraires.

Installed on a stand of about forty square meters, fully scenographed, this new attraction hub will bring together the best of travel-related publishing, tourism, fiction, and human adventure.

Born from the desire to celebrate writing in all its forms within the travel sector, the bookstore Les Escales Littéraires is structured around a partnership with Hachette Tourisme and a selection of authors divided into two main categories.

1) The tourism industry author professionals: whether self-published, published on demand, or by independent publishing houses, these familiar faces in the sector reveal their technical works, their essays or their fiction.

2) The flagship authors from Hachette Tourisme (influencers, stars, journalists…) : the minds behind the must-have guides will be present to decode new destinations and the finest travel experiences.

Bien plus qu’un simple espace de dédicaces, le stand des Escales Littéraires sera un véritable lieu d’échanges et de rencontres.

Throughout the three days, an integrated stage area will host the selected authors who will present and sign their works.

The schedule of these interventions will be relayed through the IFTM’s official communication channels and in the professional press.

A New Matchmaking Program for the Business Club

© Stéphane Laure

For this 2026 edition, IFTM innovates on the business travel front by launching a pre-qualified 1:1 meeting program between Business Club exhibitors and corporate buyers.

Through the Everywhere platform, each participant selects their interlocutors in advance for targeted and relevant conversations.

On Thursday, September 17, starting at 8:30 a.m., i.e. before the official opening of the show, participants will gather in a dedicated and privileged space at the heart of the Business Club for five to six one-on-one interviews lasting fifteen to twenty minutes each.

A format designed to maximize business opportunities, without wasting time.

Competitions to Spotlight Tourism Talents

IFTM is also the hub for competitions that celebrate talent, excellence, and innovation within the sector. This year’s program includes:

● The 3rd edition of the Orchestra Start-Up Contest, part of the event’s 10th anniversary, will give tourism startups the opportunity to pitch their solution before a panel of experts. This year, emphasis is placed on the community dimension: Village alumni will take the stage to share lessons learned and create a real value chain among entrepreneurs. The winning startup will receive personalized support from Orchestra, which could take the form of financial support, mentoring, or introductions. The grand final will take place on Tuesday, September 15 at 5:00 p.m. in Arena by Uzbekistan.

● The 2nd edition of Plume Verte by IFTM x ADONET rewards journalists who put their ink to work for responsible tourism. New for 2026: a Special ADONET Destinations Prize joins the roster, alongside the Plume Verte prize awarded by the jury and the Village’s Coup de Cœur chosen by exhibitors. The three prizes will be handed out on Wednesday, September 16 within the Village des Initiatives Durables by mN’O.

● The 9th edition of the Travel Agents Cup Junior, organized in partnership with FFTST, invites tourism students to put themselves in a real-world situation: persuade and sell France as a destination based on a client scenario drawn at random. The five finalists will compete on stage on Thursday, September 17 at 1:30 p.m. in Arena by Uzbekistan, before a jury drawn from all tourism fields.

● Finally, the Travel Agents Cup returns to reward the best travel agent in France. Contestants first submit a short video introduction, then compete in a three-stage final: discovery of the travel project, preparation of the proposal, and a live presentation on stage before a panel of experts. The event takes place in Arena by Uzbekistan on Thursday, September 17 at 3:30 p.m.

The Show’s Evenings

IFTM also features iconic evenings that pace the show and extend the conversations in a friendly atmosphere:

● The Digitrips x IFTM evening, the festive rendezvous for industry professionals, will take place at Pavillon Dauphine on Tuesday, September 15.

● The ceremony of the Business Travel Laureates organized by Eventiz will honor the sector’s standout players on Wednesday evening.

● The IFTM TourMaG Party will be held on Thursday, September 17 to close the show, at Club Haussmann in Paris’s 9th arrondissement. Open this year to all tourism professionals, available by registration, it promises to bring together more than 700 attendees for a moment of conviviality and exchange.

With a dense program and a theme closely aligned with industry realities, IFTM 2026 is shaping up to be a demonstrative and impactful edition. Three days to reveal together what creates value in tourism.
