Accor and H World Group Expand Partnership to Bookings and Loyalty Programs

A phased rollout throughout 2026

The agreement rests on the complementarity of the two organizations: Accor’s global brand portfolio and international distribution network join forces with the direct-channel strength and H World’s extensive customer base in China.

H Rewards counts more than 310 million members, while ALL Accor totals nearly 120 million worldwide.

The rollout of this synergy will occur in successive phases during 2026. H World International hotels located in Europe and the Middle East will progressively become accessible to ALL Accor on the French group’s direct channels.

Conversely, the premium and luxury brands of Accor operating in mainland China will be integrated into H World’s platforms for H Rewards members. Travelers of both programs will thus begin benefiting from preferential rates, privileged status recognition and the accumulation of points during their stays at participating partner properties.

Costa Rica

American Express and the hotel group Accor announce a global partnership.

Through this synergy, eligible American Express cardholders gain direct access to ALL Accor program statuses and benefit from new conversion options for their loyalty points.

This new global arrangement is gradually rolled out across a dozen key markets, including France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Japan.

The main objective is to optimize the customer journey within the Accor group’s network of more than 45 brands, among which are prestigious names such as Raffles, Fairmont, and Sofitel.

The two parties aim to offer greater value and flexibility to travelers within their high-end clientele.

Some American Express Holders Will Benefit from ALL Accor Gold Status

The hotel group Accor reported a revenue of €1.313 billion in the first quarter of 2026, up 2.3% at constant exchange rates, in an environment marked by geopolitical tensions, notably in the Middle East.

Revenue fell -2.7% on a published basis.

The Group once again posts growth that is solid and sustained“, says its CEO Sébastien Bazin, who highlights “the very strong momentum at the start of the year” that helped largely offset the effects of the regional conflict.

The first two months of the year were “remarkably solid“, continuing the momentum from late 2025, before the Middle East conflict disrupted activity from late February. The United Arab Emirates were notably affected, while other areas, such as Europe or Southeast Asia, benefited from robust demand.

RevPAR (revenue per available room) grows 5.1% year over year

RevPAR (revenue per available room) rises 5.1% year over year, driven mainly by price increases. Growth is particularly pronounced in the Americas (+9.1%) and in Asia-Pacific, while Europe shows a more modest advance (+2.7%).

The Premium, Midscale and Economy division posted €663 million in revenue, up 4.6% at constant currency. By contrast, the Luxury & Lifestyle segment declined slightly (-0.7%), largely due to perimeter effects related to disposals, the press release indicates.

Within this segment, Management & Franchise activity remains dynamic, with a 15.2% rise, driven by the network expansion and RevPAR growth.

During the quarter, Accor opened 48 hotels, representing more than 6,700 rooms. Over twelve months, net network growth stood at 3.8%. By the end of March 2026, the group counted 5,815 hotels and nearly 880,000 rooms, with a pipeline of 260,000 additional rooms.

The group remains attentive to the evolution of geopolitical tensions, whose impacts are “currently uncertain.” Nevertheless, Accor maintains that its “growth algorithm remains intact” and expresses confidence in its ability to improve performance over the course of the year.

At the same time, the group continues its financial initiatives, with a €450 million share buyback program announced for 2026, of which an initial tranche of €225 million was launched at the beginning of April.

Accor announces the launch of the HERA Challenge, an international contest aimed at travel agents who are members of its HERA platform. This initiative seeks to highlight the performance and dedication of industry professionals by offering a tangible reward: a stay in Colombia in March 2026.

The 33 top advisors will be selected based on multiple criteria, including sales volumes, destinations booked, or preferred brands.

This initiative continues the HERA platform, launched a year earlier, which aims to assist travel agents with their hotel bookings via dedicated digital tools.

An Accor competition structured around 11 categories

The HERA Challenge is open exclusively to users of the HERA.Accor.com platform. The 33 winners will be distributed across 11 distinct categories. Three of them will reward the “Champions of Performance” based on either the overall sales revenue generated or the largest single sale completed on the platform. Three other categories will recognize the “Regional Stars” according to performance in the following regions: the Americas; Europe, Africa and Turkey; the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific.

In addition, five “Brand Experts” categories will honor sales made for the Orient Express, Fairmont, Raffles, Sofitel/Sofitel Legend/MGallery, and Ennismore’s lifestyle brands.

Finally, the last category, “Champions of Destinations“, will spotlight the three agents who booked trips to the largest number of different countries. The competition covers all bookings made between November 15, 2024, and November 15, 2025. Winners will be announced in December 2025.

A Colombia experience for the winners

The 33 rewarded agents will undertake a four-day experience, from March 9 to March 12, 2026, spread across two Colombian properties within the group. They will spend one night at the Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena, located in a 17th-century convent in the heart of Cartagena, and two nights at the Sofitel Barú Calablanca Beach Resort, LEED-certified and situated about 40 minutes by boat from the city.

The program includes meetings with local communities, in line with the group’s commitment to responsible travel. The Barú complex features 187 rooms and suites, several infinity pools, a spa, a gym, and restaurants, including Bahía by the sea and Humo, which blends Asian and Latin American cuisines. According to Pascal Visintainer, “the HERA Challenge is our way of highlighting and rewarding travel agents who bring our brands to life for customers around the world.”
