The regular daily operation schedule offers agencies complete flexibility for their clients, with structured times that maximize work and rest periods:

Flight LA8067 (Paris – São Paulo): Daily departure at 13:00 and arrival at 20:00 on the same day. This daytime timetable facilitates morning connections in Europe and lets passengers work comfortably onboard in daylight or unwind before a late-evening arrival in Brazil.

Flight LA8068 (São Paulo – Paris): Daily departure at 18:20 and arrival at 10:35 the following day (+1). This red-eye flight maximizes onboard rest and allows a full day upon landing in France.

The strategic advantage of the São Paulo Hub (GRU): The real appeal of this route for tourism professionals lies in the Guarulhos transfer hub. Upon touchdown, passengers gain direct access to LATAM Airlines’ network:

Domestic network: Smooth connections to dozens of Brazilian airports (including major corporate and tourist centers such as Rio de Janeiro, Salvador de Bahia, and Brasilia).

Regional network: Direct links to the leading capitals of South America (Santiago, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and Lima), reinforcing LATAM Airlines as the most efficient operator in the market.

Airport Management: Priority Services and VIP Lounges

LATAM Airlines’ personalized service begins the moment the passenger arrives at the airport, thanks to streamlined processes designed to cut waiting times:

Ground Priority Path: Passengers traveling in the Premium Business cabin enjoy exclusive check-in counters, access to expedited security lanes (Fast Track), and priority boarding.

Baggage Handling: Luggage receives preferential treatment with priority labeling, ensuring it is among the first to be delivered on the belt at the destination.

LATAM Lounge in São Paulo: At Guarulhos, premium clients have access to a corporate space featuring quiet rest zones, private showers, a high-end buffet (hot and cold options), coworking areas with high-speed connectivity, and a carefully curated menu of international beverages.

The Paris – São Paulo connection is exclusively operated by the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The design and engineering of this next-generation aircraft aim to reduce physical fatigue and jet lag on long-haul journeys:

Advanced cabin pressurization: With a composite-material fuselage, the aircraft is pressurized at an altitude lower than conventional models, enabling better passenger oxygenation and a reduction in fatigue and headaches.

Controlled ambient humidity: An automatic system maintains higher humidity levels in the cabin, preventing dryness of the skin, eyes, and throat during the twelve-hour flight.

Dynamic LED lighting (Mood Lighting): The cabin lights are programmed to reproduce natural day-night cycles according to the destination time, smoothing the time zone transition and supporting restorative sleep on nocturnal legs.

Premium Business Cabin: Privacy, Ergonomics, and Onboard Flexibility

The 30-seat configuration inside LATAM’s Premium Business cabin creates an ideal environment for both productivity and rest:

Direct aisle access: The cabin layout ensures passenger independence, allowing movement without disturbing others.

Full Flat seat: Each seat electronically reclines to 180 degrees, transforming into a fully flat bed longer than two meters, complemented by ergonomic cushions and soft bedding.

Technical equipment: Every seat provides a large personal HD screen, a remote control, universal power outlets, and USB ports for professional devices.

Flexible “As you wish” service: The crew adapts the service pace to the passenger’s preferences. Guests can individually choose the timing of meals or rest, optimizing either productivity or sleep.

Personalized Regional Cuisine and Sustainability

The onboard culinary proposition blends regional South American identity with strict sustainability standards, a key factor for the CSR policies of business clients:

Chef’s menu and pre-selection: Crafted by international chefs for the Premium Business cabin, it highlights fresh locally sourced ingredients paired with wines selected by sommeliers. For optimal personalization, LATAM Airlines enables passengers to choose their main course on the website or app from 5 days to 26 hours before departure.

Eco Travel Kits: Provided in the Premium Business cabin to replace disposable plastic kits, these cases are designed by regional artists using recycled, organic materials and durable fabrics, in line with fair-trade criteria.

Reduction of environmental footprint: LATAM Airlines has eliminated 100% of single-use plastics in the premium cabin, substituting them with reusable, compostable, or recyclable utensils.

For travel agencies in France, recommending LATAM’s daily service on the Paris – São Paulo route ensures premium business and leisure clients a competitive product, time-efficient connections, and high comfort standards across the entire itinerary.

SNCF: FNAUT Denounces Ouigo Price Hikes and Decline of the Inoui Service

While SNCF has recently confirmed a modest increase in TGV INOUI and OUIGO fares for 2026, the National Federation of User Associations for Transport (FNAUT) has published a comparative study on how TGV prices and offerings have evolved from 2017 to 2024.

It had already unveiled, at the end of 2025, an initial report covering figures from 2017 to 2023. It now updates the data with 2024 figures.

According to FNAUT data based on the open data from the Transport Regulation Authority:

  • Between 2017 and 2024, OUIGO’s seat-kilometre offering surged by +185%, while TGV INOUI’s declined by around -13%.

  • This trend translates into a traffic split where OUIGO trains now account for a substantial share, at the expense of the traditional INOUI offering, criticized for its gradual decline.

“More OUIGO, less INOUI: the French TGV is changing its face… but not necessarily to the benefit of regular travelers.” states FNAUT.

Marked rise in OUIGO prices vs relatively stable INOUI

The FNAUT argues that this evolution reduces travel options for holders of discount cards (such as Avantage or Liberté), who often find fewer seats available on reserved quotas for TGV INOUI, the more traditional option.

The federation also analyzes price developments.

  • The average price of an OUIGO ticket rose by 75% between 2017 and 2024, and the price per kilometer climbed by 71% over the same period.

  • By contrast, INOUI TGV tickets saw their average price rise by only 8%, with a price-per-kilometer increase limited to 11%, well below overall inflation.

response from Alain Krakovitch: context, evolution and customers

On LinkedIn, Alain Krakovitch, director of TGV-Intercités and head of the TGV INOUI and OUIGO brands, replied to these criticisms by emphasizing several contextual elements:

According to him, a large portion of OUIGO price increases can be explained by changes in the offering: at launch, the brand served only secondary stations and short-haul routes. Today, it operates from major Paris stations and on much longer connections (up to Hendaye, Brest, Perpignan…), which, he says, accounts for about 80% of the observed price rise.

He suggests that the remaining rise reflects higher operating costs, but notes that, overall, the prices of TGVs (INOUI + OUIGO) have risen more slowly than inflation in recent years.

For Krakovitch, the two brands are not competitors but complementary: OUIGO generally remains about 30% cheaper than TGV INOUI on average and helps attract travelers who would not have taken the train otherwise. He also notes that more than 180 million customers have used OUIGO since its inception, with more than half of tickets sold for less than €30.

Night Train: European Sleeper Launches Paris–Berlin Service

Departing from the Gare du Nord in Paris, on March 26, European Sleeper officially launched its new overnight link to Berlin, via Brussels.

The train left the French capital at 6:03 PM, marking the return of a direct connection between these great European metropolises, long absent from the rail network.

The convoy’s arrival at Berlin Hauptbahnhof, the following morning, prompted an official reception bringing together partners and institutional representatives.

This new link is part of the progressive development of European Sleeper’s network, already present on the Brussels – Amsterdam – Berlin – Prague axis. The company also plans to launch a night train to Milan from September 2026.

The Paris – Brussels – Berlin line will be operated at a rate of three round trips per week. In time, it will allow six departures per week in each direction between Brussels and Berlin.

A European and Sustainable Ambition

At the launch event in Paris, the founders of the company, Chris Engelsman and Elmer van Buuren, emphasized the challenges involved in developing the night train project.

They particularly stressed the need to gradually build a viable European rail network, while promoting market openness to new operators and improving the integration of cross-border services.

Present at the inauguration, Belgium’s Federal Mobility Minister, Jean-Luc Crucke, highlighted the environmental benefits of the project, noting a credible alternative in favor of low-carbon tourism.

He also recalled the commitment of the Belgian authorities to remove regulatory and technical barriers to such initiatives.

On the SNCF side, Olivier Bancel praised the cooperation among the various actors, stating that these partnerships help reposition rail as a central mode of transport in Europe.

An Accessible Pricing Range

The establishment of this link relies on the collaboration of numerous operational and industrial partners, including Train Charter Services, Wagon Plastron, as well as the Alstom and RAILPOOL groups. New players, such as RDC Deutschland Gruppe, also participated in the project.

Infrastructure managers in France, Belgium and Germany were mobilized to integrate this new offering into the existing networks.

On board, European Sleeper offers several levels of comfort, with tickets from €39.99 for a seated seat. Berths are available from €59.99, including reservation and bed linen.

For higher comfort, passengers can opt for Comfort Standard compartments from €99.99 or Comfort Plus from €129.99, with breakfast included.

Atlantic Airways Expands Faroe Islands Service from Paris

CroisiEurope

The Faroe Islands are gaining visibility in the French market.

Since April 24, 2026, Atlantic Airways has been operating a seasonal direct link between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Vágar Airport.

After a start with two weekly frequencies, the carrier has shifted to three flights per week since May 27, 2026, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, until September 4. The service will then continue at two rotations per week until October 16, 2026.

The stated objective is to meet growing demand for nature-based destinations that remain pristine and easily accessible from France.

With a non-stop flight time of 2 hours 40 minutes, the Paris–Vágar link places the Faroe Islands among the territories closest to the European Far North.

For a long time kept off the European tourist circuits, the Faroe Islands are now attracting travelers seeking more immersive experiences, away from saturated destinations.

A destination oriented toward more responsible tourism

Spring and early summer are the best periods for exploring the archipelago: increased daylight, optimal hiking conditions, and easier access to maritime excursions.

In this context, Visit Faroe Islands continues to promote a more responsible approach to tourism through its campaign “Please Visit Responsibly”.

This initiative encourages visitors to adopt respectful behaviors: protect wildlife, close gates, reduce noise levels, and favor local operators.

A move backed by Atlantic Airways, which invites its passengers to inform themselves about these best practices before their departure.

In addition to this seasonal direct link, the airline also provides annual connectivity via Copenhagen in partnership with Air France, thereby strengthening the archipelago’s accessibility from several European markets.
